A wonderful album reminding listeners of the many great songs he has made over the years. Very nice collection of his hits. Many of my favorites included. Would highly recommend this CD as a single source of his work for your music collection. Excellent sound quality.

    • You Are Stuck On The Ceiling Running All Night Long Endless Lady Love
Man…this brought me back to my formative teen years listening to AM soft rock before graduating to the FM dial. Those were good times and Lionel Richie’s crooning and smooth vocals, never overstaying their welcome or overpowering the listener, could put little wings on your shoulders or make you want to reach for a Kleenex before calling your girlfriend. So many greats are here, with a couple of Commodore songs slipped in, and (for the time of release) a couple of new tracks to entice long-time Richie fans who already had all of his product. I’m still surprised at how easy it is for me to sing these songs that I haven’t listened to for maybe 10-20 years! It’s like getting back on a bike: once you’ve learned to ride it you never forget and once you had learned to sing these songs so long ago they quickly and easily come back to mind. I don’t have a good singing voice (and, boy, is that ever an understatement!) so I think that some of the youth that I work with aren’t too happy that I have woken them up over the coms with “hello! Is it me you’re looking for?” I fear I’ve done Richie a disservice by singing his songs out loud to others but I have no fear because if/ when they hear Lionel’s bad boy originals they’ll come around. Who could resist “Say You, Say Me”? Not me! Great collection and I highly enjoy it! ... show more
