    • Fantastic!
The Big Bang Theory Blu Ray Complete series Box set is a great addition to anyone's library. Yes, it is a bit pricey, but it's still a great bargain considering all that you get. The extras on each season seem to be the same as what is on the individual DVDs and Blu Ray sets if anyone has previously owned any of the episodes. I had, but to be honest, I had forgotten most of them and they seemed new to me. There is an extra Disc with new extras which were fun to watch. The quality of the Blu Rays are great---they were clear and more detailed than what you normally see on tv. The digital surround mix is ok, but not what I would call great. I know that I can change the mix somewhat on my system, but there doesn't see to be much in the rear channels except for during the theme song and transitions between scenes. I was expecting the audience laughter to be in the rear channel like some shows, but it wasn't. I didn't take any stars off for this because it is probably just the original mix, and nothing wrong with the Blu Rays. There is one episode on the first disc that has a great mix with the audience laughing in the rear channel, but that was the only one. (I haven't watched the whole series yet so the mix may improve later). Also, the great thing about owning the Blue Rays or DVDS is that the episodes are uncut. What you see on the reruns on tv are edited. They're not heavily cut, but there are little scenes edited out here an there. Most cuts are just a few second longs, but there are a few that are considerably longer. One other note, to retrieve the Blu Rays, they slide out of the box on one side. If someone isn't careful while they are holding the box, the Blue Rays can accidentally slide out of the box and onto the floor. Overall, this is a must buy if you're a big fan of the show. The collection comes in a nice box and there is a nice booklet with photos and information about the show. A fantastic collection! ... show more

I have watched the show at least 8 times now and love everything about it and thanks to this I can see it whenever I want. It's beautiful and any super fan should have.

    • Mom is older however was intrigued and wanted to see it in Spanish. My favorite all time show!
Mom is older, so she didn't learn enough English to watch and fully comprehend it in English. She was intrigued and wanted to see it in Spanish. I wanted it because it's my all-time favorite show! In a time with so much bad daily news, this made her laugh her head off. I never purchased a Blu-Ray before. While pricey, the laughs and cheering up, she got was priceless. Once she watched a few episodes, she asked me, "do the episodes ever end?" She was in hopes that BBT would never end due to her enjoyment. Sadly the 12th season was the official end. I did read "Howard Wolowitz" taking over for Sheldon in a season 13. While he's fantastic, I can't see him filling in that spot. Most TV comedies appear scripted, so they rarely capture my attention. BBT characters are such great actors that, it doesn't feel scripted. The show will be better digested if your level of wittiness is higher than average, to capture all the jokes at the speed that they deliver them. Many of the series did include tracks in Spanish, French, Portuguese, and other languages. In seasons 3 and 4, Spanish tracks are not available; however, subtitles were. If you're looking for a great comedy TV show, it's going to be challenging to find anything funnier! ... show more

    • The PERFECT set.
If you are a fan of the series, this for you! My family and I blew through the over 139 hours from season one to season 12. On top of that, you get hours of bloopers, interviews, special documentaries, and so much more. My favorite was getting to see what it was like to be in the studio audience and watch the filming from start to finish. If that isn't enough for you, a complete digital set is also included so you can watch this wonderful show anywhere and everywhere you go! Here's hoping they do season 13 someday soon!! ... show more

    • Great kit - enjoyed many of the extras, and the packaging was fun
Ok - It's "The Big Bang Theory". What more can I say about the show itself? If you haven't seen the show, it is excellent - hilarious. The packaging was fun - a large format "fold-out" book with photos from the show and two discs per season. There are plenty of extras on the discs - we have barely scratched the surface of these. We binged on this set - although we were regular watchers during the original run, seeing all the episodes again was great. ... show more

    • Great Box Set
I seen a few people say this was expensive. If you look at VUDU the complete series is over $200. I'm not sure if in other countries the digital works. The package is sleek all disc are easy to get. The book is pretty cool. So if you like the show and collecting box sets this will be a win/win. Back to VUDU and people saying you have to sign up Here's a spoiler...It's FREE. Takes no time and then you can watch the show almost anywhere. You're welcome. Now buy it... ... show more

Very lucky I got this for my brother because I think it's on a short leash so to speak. I don't think it's going to be around too long because it was a limited edition. Get it while it's hot. I think I got it for $139. At one time it was $286

    • A few quibbles
BEWARE: The bonus disc included with the Blu-ray box set is a DVD, not a Blu-ray disc. Why Warner Home Video decided to do this is beyond me. Also, even though the rejected pilot episode is mentioned several times during the bonus disc interviews, we don't get to see it. A real disappointment- why don't we get to see what CBS didn't like? One last thing- "DISCS MADE IN MEXICO" stamp on the shrink wrap. Certainly with imported discs, WHV could have charged a lower price for this box... wouldn't you think? ... show more
