I love the size of these bobbins. They are perfect to use for wire weaving with very small diameter wire like 26, 28, or 30 gauge. For me, I find the size of these bobbins to be easier to work with than the larger size; however, that may be because I have small hands. I have the larger sizes but avoid them and grab these for the majority of my projects. These small bobbins will hold plenty of wire for almost any jewelry project. I don't think I'll ever need all these, but I bought enough to share. This package was only a buck or two more than one with 1/4 as many bobbins! I use them for wire (wire wrapped jewelry) and they make the whole task so much easier!

I've just started to learn the art of kumihimo -- Japanese cord braiding. I was struggling with using some rubber bands around embroidery floss cards but had to stop often to unwrap a length and having them tangle around each other constantly. These bobbins are fantastic! they hold a good amount and the design makes it no fuss as the cord just gradually let out a bit of cord at a time without even having to think about it! This package of 32 for such a low price is awesome! I've used bobbing out of three of the four bags and only had one that was a littie to "loose" and didn't hold onto the cord well enough. ... show more

Wish I'd thought of if first! This product make knotting friendship bracelets so much easier. Embroidery floss does tend to slip a bit, so I but a small angled snip in the rounded part to hold the thread securely. Worked like a charm.

These are useful to keep parked threads organized while cross stitching. Thread gets wrapped around it and protected so they don't fray as much

Does an adequate job but, very flimsy and doesn’t always hold. Not sure how they have such a high rating. Their weighted bobbins are made much better.
