I bought this to wear while i ran a half marathon in my Thor costume as i didn't really want to wear my wig while running and thought this was a better idea. It is fairly big as many of the other reviews have said and i don't know that i would recommend it for a child, but it was a good enough size for my(6'3 and 225 with a fairly large head). Product is nice nephew liked it BUT it's still being viewed as still in delivery when my nephew has had it for over a month. Matter of fact it's stating to be delivered today!!! LOL. Royal mail seems to be the mail carrier. Kind of a hassle. Good luck.
