This is a well made wheel immobilized for this price point, good construction, fit and finish. Lock is unusual but works well. What have I learned having had it for a year? Fit is not as simple as tire width. Tire cross section will determine what it works on and what it doesn’t. It works fine on my Honda CRV with 225/65R17 tires, not on my Tundra with 265/75R16 tires. Neither exceeds 11.5” wide. Why not the Tundra? The answer lies in the larger cross section (distance from rim to outside of tread). On the Tundra the “horns” of the device are not long enough to reach inside the rim and allow the two halves of the device to slide together enough to lock. It might be nice if the listing included tire sizes expected to fit, as some do. Width just isn’t enough to ensure a fit. That said I would expect it to fit most cars and trailers but without a listing of tire sizes or more dimensions on the clamping end of the device including the “horns” there is a bit of uncertainty. ... show more

We had an enclosed trailer get stolen out of a storage facility. Not looking for a repeat. So put these on some tires to at least slow them down & possibly deter thiefs ( along with hitch pin locks and ball locks - I know how amazingly sad 🙄 ). Works well, extremely heavy, with two keys each that perform well. Keys are cut perfect and the actual lock has rubber caps that close over the face of the lock.
