This dress is so nice! It’s well made with good material and lays very nicely. I love the shawl collar, and upon one washing, it feels like good quality washable silk. I wish there were more varieties to purchase. I feel like I found a treasure! I am going to have to sew the side slits down a bit to wear for work but otherwise a quality piece. I love this dress. Very easy to dress up or down. I find that it fit just as expected. I am 5’9” and don’t feel like it looks abnormally short like a lot of other dresses. I bought it in black which is nice true black that doesn’t look faded at all. The pockets are for show only. I belted the dress with a silver chain belt and loved the look. This is a beautiful dress. Great weight and drape. Fits well across my bust and hangs perfectly. It’s a little longer than I thought it would be, but the quality is great. Which brings me to the pockets. There are real pockets on this dress, but they are not tacked shut…they are machine sewn shut. Tightly. I would like to open the pockets but am worried I will ruin the dress. Going to give it a whirl on one and see what happens. Regardless…happy with the purchase. The print is fantastic! ... show more

This dress is extremely dowdy. Its style is like an old-fashioned house dress, shapeless and unflattering. I'm an average weight and height and wear most longer dresses well and this one was utterly blah. I bought the crane print and they didn't match the print at the front seam, so it looks chaotic to boot. The fabric has a very nice hand, but it's fairly wrinkly as well. Not for me! ... show more
