I bought the 5". "Why on earth would anyone want a 5" steel ball bearing?", you ask? Well, I'm not sure how I've lived so long without one. The shear joy I get when I place it someone elses hand and they have to scramble to get another hand under is beyond entertaining. This thing is solid and HEAVY. The cardboard box was beat to hell upon arrival, but the ball itself, nuzzled in it's bubble wrap armor, was perfectly prestine. I purchased the 10 pack of 1" balls to add into a chain mail project as captive balls for an accent. Size is precise and very uniform, finish looks great too. The weight is just right for what I have planned. They feel great in your hand and are a joy to play with. I may need to order more so I can still have some to play with after I finish this project. The oil they come packed in is light and odor free. I've purchased ball bearings in the past that came packed inside a thick sticky smelly goop that was horrible to remove and these had none of that to worry about. 10/10 highly recommend, ... show more
