It's my first telescope ever. I did as much research as I could for an amateur. It's about as good as you can do for a $200 scope. A couple of things, my altitude movement of the scope is not smooth. It's tight and loose sporadically. So one thing I've done is make fast movement up and down over and over for a minute or so to try to break it in a little better. It's working so keep that in mind. The next thing I've done for a better experience is buying more lenses and filters. The 6,10 and 25mm isn't enough for a better viewing experience. So I bought the Celestron lenses and filters. Way much more viewing. It was a little expensive but for me it was worth it. The extra lenses from what I already have are 8,13,17,32mm PERFECT for excellent magnification. My phone camera took overall excellent pics. You judge. So bottom line for an amateur is this is a pretty cool hobby for the moon 🌙 and sun. 4 pics of moon with different filters and 1 pic of sun at sunset with solar filter. Enjoy I am ... show more
