  • Great telescope.
I bought this telescope for my boyfriend’s birthday. He has always wanted one and we have had so much fun learning to use it. It gives amazing views. We are amateurs and were so awed by our first look at the moon. The pictures I attached can be taken from the phone accessory, which is easy to use. Of course, the views directly in the telescope are even better, as you can really explore around the surface of the moon. We also got a pretty good view of Jupiter. Can’t wait for warm weather so we can explore so much more!! ... show more

  • NASA Here I Come!
Let me tell you, I've always been the type to get lost in my own backyard, but not anymore! This telescope has turned me into the Sherlock Holmes of stargazing. First off, assembling it was a breeze. Even for someone like me, who once struggled to put together a LEGO set without ending up with a wonky spaceship. Once it was set up, I felt like a mad scientist about to uncover the secrets of the universe. Now, I'll admit, at first, I wasn't sure if I was looking at the moon or a really round piece of cheese, but after a few tries, I was identifying constellations like a pro. Who needs Google Sky Map when you've got this bad boy? And don't even get me started on the reaction from the neighbors. They thought I was hosting a NASA convention in my backyard! Next thing you know, I'll be signing autographs as the neighborhood astronomer. So, if you're looking to add a little cosmic flair to your life and impress your friends with your newfound astronomical knowledge, this telescope is a no-brainer. Just be warned, you might end up spending more time with the stars than with your friends. ... show more

  • Amazing and simple to use
Got it for my nephew but I’ve been obsessed with it. Comes with 2 different lenses and a phone extender that I have been using to take pictures. Super easy to install and use. Both for adults and children.

  • Well, it says 80mm aperture, but it's really 70mm...
I'm somehow disappointed with this telescope, but I will try it more anyway. Upon receiving it, I've noticed the real aperture is not what they've advertised. The total aperture is 70mm (there is a bulky ring in front of the lens, and I believe this is to accommodate the real lens size within the tube) and it looks like the 600mm focal length aren't there neither (the front lens is many centimeters inside the tube length, so I believe this is a 500mm focal length), so that's surely a huge drawback. I think it's a good beginner telescope, but there are better options for this money. I've bought it with a discount, and that makes it a good deal, but I won't be buying another from this manufacturer. They should sell it for what it is, a 70mm aperture telescope. I'll test it further and then add more information to this review. ... show more
