The telescope does come with easy to carry case with a small pouch for lenses and tools. It is definitely easy to carry around and use when outdoors. The image was clearer than other cheaper telescope and could see the zoom was definitely better. Pros: - Various Lenses with Barlow Lens - high aperture - moving flexibility of the tripod is top notch. - tripod does allow stable views once the object is identified. Cons: - the telescope is made of plastic which could improve the look and feel - the tripod stand has a center tool which has screws with sharp edges. Keep kids away from pinching hazard. - having some sort of app recommendation to provide direction on where to look at would be helpful as a beginner. Box came and was only 11 lbs! Easy to carry! Carrying case makes it easy to move from your house to outside to camping trips. I will be using this a lot with my daughter when there are astral events to view. I would give this as a Christmas gift coming up, and it was on sale when I bought it.
