This telescope is really easy to set up and use. We have had others that we had to send back, because we could not get them focused. My 14 year old set this up, and had single stars focused in no time. We haven't had a chance yet to see any planets, but I'm sure as clear as we can see through it, we won't have a problem when the opportunity comes along. The telescope is very well built.
