I recently purchased the Hexium telescope and I absolutely love it! The assembly and disassembly are incredibly easy, making it very convenient to transport with its nice carrying case. The telescope looks high-end and has a premium feel to it. While I did have some trouble figuring out the viewfinding scope, I was still able to enjoy some incredible observations. From Appleton, WI, I managed to see Saturn and Jupiter, along with Jupiter’s moons. Overall, this telescope is a fantastic choice for both beginners and experienced stargazers. This telescope is easy to use and great for any age! However, I will say that I will be buying some thing a little bit better than this one as I had found other better quality telescopes. This worked fine, however for certain magnification and appearances, it wasn’t the greatest. It was good for its value and for kid use! The focus was also okay. Really clear image projected. I tried my best to get a good shot on my phone but my phones a little old now. But nonetheless it comes out pretty clear. I really enjoyed using this with my wife!! Also the Togo bag makes it so easy to store. And very easy setup.

I purchased this for my 13 year old son and I didn't want anything too complicated. I was looking for something that we could grab quickly and set it up for a random "hey, let's look at the stars" moment. The set up was simple and the instructions were easy to understand. Each part was clearly identified in the instructions, which I found helpful. It's a nice little telescope for a beginner, or for someone who just wants something simple for a quick impromptu gaze. The quality is fine for what we wanted it for. I have never used a telescope before and I found it simple enough to figure it out. Trust me, if I figured it out, anyone can. The carrying case is small, which makes it easy to store it when not in use. I don't think that the images with the lenses we got are going to blow you away, but it is great for just a little extra fun while stargazing. My children are in the 4-10 age range and I wanted a basic telescope to start them out on. This Hexeum has really fit the bill. It is easy to transport, easy to focus, durable, and has enough lense options to allow for better observations as skill with the telescope improves. Assembling it was easy and we started viewing the moon and stars immediately. This was actually a Christmas gift for someone so this is more of a review from the person that received it. He said it is a medium quality telescope. This is good for beginners. The lenses are not as strong as it could be. The moon looks good but if you are looking at stars this is not the telescope for you. I will be buying another one that’s better quality. ... show more

It's exciting to set this up and have a look at the moon for the kids. When looking at stars, its a challenge to get the star in the viewfinder but I'm sure with practice it'll be easier. There isn't much magnification on the stars but the fact the kids can see it is really what matters. Good value for what you get.
