Description

TEKTON S2 steel bits are press-fit into the socket for a straight, permanent connection that can't loosen over time. The 6-sided hexagonal tip is machined to precise tolerances for an exact fit with hex fasteners. Its chamfered end easily slides into fasteners, reducing wear. The extra-long bits allow you access deep into narrow, recessed areas and come stored in a sturdy, clearly marked case.

This was my first purchase from tekton and I immediately fell in love with the brand. Nice case, although it’s way too big. Eats up an entire drawer of Box at work, and it could be a lot smaller. But it’s big and red and attracts the attention of my coworkers who are all addicted to Milwaukee tools. I use these sockets for various operations in a machine shop, and it exceeds all my needs! I would continue on with a raving review about how tekton made my day and I’ll be a loyal customer forever, but my next purchase, a couple adjustable crescent wrenches, were worse than harbor freight tools. The kit come in a plastic box which holds all the sockets. The SAE sockets kit snug into the case but the metric not so much. Still a nice set and the sockets worked as they should when I use them.

I have been buying Tekton tools for about two years now. I have a mix of Craftsman, Snapon, Proto and Matco . Tekton is on par with all of them, and definitely better than the new Craftsman, which I refuse to buy anymore. I have yet to dislike any tool from them, and definitely like the cost vs Snapon. I still buy certain items from the bigger guys, but so far I’m pleased with the hex kit. It has good reach, great fit and doesn’t seem to twist much under loads. ... show more

We had Snap On, Mac, Marco or buying from the local huckster. I have been using this set on my race motorcycles. Love it. Strong, great fit in the fasteners and accurate with the torque wrenches.
