I am in love with this vinyl. The shimmer and color are amazing and look gorgeous on my projects. I’ve bought this several times now. Two important things: 1) if you are cutting with a cricut maker it seems to work best on the setting for ‘cereal box’ 2) you must use a high tack transfer tape or it won’t work. The teckwrap brand high tack with the yellow grid lines works perfect. Regular transfer tape doesn’t cut it. Love this stuff. Adds some pizzazz to my projects. I’ll keep buying it. ... show more

I love buying from this brand. When it comes to using shimmer vinyls they take more time. I use the same technique with the cricut shimmer brand that I used for this. You have to go slow when weeding it. You also have to put your tool you're using to weeding it on the cut (for example the letters). I will use my weeder to life then slowly peel it back with my hand and put the flat part of my weeder (i use the basic cricut weeder) hold the letter down and pull the vinyl so it so it leaves the letter. I have to do this with each individual item show in my pictures to weed anytime of shimmer paper. It takes more time but when using these, I think it's worth it for the outcome of my projects. Highly recommend this brand for their vinyl! Set your cricut to Cricut Shimmer and give it a try. =^) ... show more

Very pretty colors but this is the worst vinyl I’ve ever tried to work with since buying dollar store cheap stuff as practice when I first started crafting. It weeds terribly! Edges are left rough and it easily tears through letters, etc with the slightest bit. I loved the tech wrap iron on so thought this would be the same but it is awful! I tried multiple colors and followed directions for cut setting. Even tried with varying degrees also settings and pressure and it’s all the same. It’s just so awful! :( ... show more

The vinyl seems to be pretty good quality in terms of adhesion when it's finally applied to a surface. But it has a few problems, First off it doesn't cut as easily as regular vinyl, even if I set my cricut settings to deep cut, which results in it also being a little difficult to weed. Because weeding was difficult, I ended wasting a whole sheet of vinyl. Next (this is the biggest issue for me) the vinyl doesn't stick to the transfer tape, I had to manually stick each piece to the bottle I was making. I may try buying a different transfer tape, but I think I will keep looking for another brand of glitter vinyl. ... show more

This stuff is stunning on anything. The glitter doesn’t come off either and is very fine. The only problem I had is that it didn’t cut all the way through even on a higher cut setting/pressure. I have to mess with it so it cuts well but not all the way through. Also, because of the glitter, I had a VERY hard time getting it to stick to my transfer paper. ... show more

This (permanent) vinyl is FANTASTIC. It’s more glittery than the official Cricut shimmer vinyl, but definitely use the shimmer vinyl setting on the Cricut. You need to have scissors and a weeder at the ready (or an exact-o-knife type implement) because there will be tiny areas that didn’t quite get cut all the way through, but honestly that’s just evidence of it’s durability. You also have to use strong grip transfer tape The multi-pack includes a few sample sheets, and you can definitely re-use it a couple times!
