We wanted a keyboard that had three features. It needed a number pad, square keys and was backlit. The TECKNET TK-KB002 was a perfect fit! I wasn't positive when I ordered this that it would do solid colors only. It definitely does. Just press FN + M3 and it allows you to toggle through seven colors. They are: red, yellow, green, light blue, dark blue, pink and white. It also has the flashing RGB colors and breathing patterns. We will only use it in a solid color mode. Typing on the keyboard is very nice. It has a softer feel than the old school 'clicker' types. The keys are nicely set. My favorite feature is that it has a large backspace button. There are a ton of keyboards out there that have a small or oddly shaped backspace that makes it aggravating for poor typists like myself to operate. This one is just right. My Windows 10 PC recognized the keyboard immediately without and need for drivers. I also like that the bottom of the keyboard has rubberized pads to prevent it from slipping around. There are 8 pads in total. The raised feet have their own pads as well. This is a very nice keyboard that's very pleasant to use. 100% recommended. ... show more

Honestly, it always surprises me to see a keyboard with full rgb that isn't mechanical. I didn't even think to check before I picked this up. I'm honestly not that disappointed, though. The her presses have a nice feel to them. Just the right amount of resistance and a satisfying 'pop' when I press each key. The lighting is good as well. Overall, it actually seems to be quite nice quality. I still which it has mechanical switches, but for anyone not looking for full linear switches (reds) I think this would be satisfactory. The all-metal design feels sturdy, and the RGB lighting looks pretty without being too over the top. The keys are quiet and responsive, and the wrist rest makes longer sessions a bit more comfortable. This is a really nice quality keyboard. The RGB lights are pretty cool -- but that's not new for a keyboard. I've had a few keyboard with RBG lights. What I like about this is the quality of the keyboard. The base of it is metal -- that's the part with the wrist rest. Mechanical keyboards I've had in the past have sounded very clicky, but this one is a "silent" keyboard, and while the keys are not completely silent when you press the, they are not clicky at all. So I guess that's the silent part. What I like most about this keyboard is that it doesn't feel cheap -- it feels like a quality keyboard. I think the main reason for that is the metal panel. The texture of the keys feels great; smooth, but not too slippery. Key-presses are practically silent, ideal for those want to type without bothering other nearby people. Key-presses also have minimal feedback, which may be undesirable for those who are used to the more tactile mechanical keyboards. All of the keys are clearly lit by the LED backlight, making them easy to see in the dark. Breathing and wave patterns are available at different brightnesses and speeds, as well as solid-colors. The Numlock and Capslock indicator lights in the upper right corner are too close to the keys, making them impossible to see without hovering directly over the keyboard. The keys are laid out in a slightly concave format, so that they are higher at the back and the front and lower in the middle. This has frequently caused me to accidentally press the Ctrl and Space buttons while trying to press the keys directly above, which can be problematic. The wrist-rest is tiny, stopping far short of my wrists, and serving no useful function. This just wastes desktop-space which I wish I could reclaim. My single biggest complaint about this keyboard is the fact that the LED backlight turns off after about 5 minutes of disuse, with no apparent option to disable this feature or change the timer. The lights do NOT automatically turn back on when I start typing; they only turn back on when I press the FN+PgDn key combo, which can be difficult to find in the dark. Overall, I really love the quiet, smooth, well lit keys, and would gladly try this brand again if they can fix the other issues. ... show more

The TECKNET RGB Gaming Keyboard is an awesome affordable gaming keyboard to have. The buttons feel very satisfying to press, it has some weight to it making it feel sturdy. It is not a light keyboard and will not move while gaming which I like, the rgb can be tuned down or lowered all the way. It has amazing sound for a keyboard under $50 dollars it also still has all the volume up and down and keyboard locking features other gaming keyboards have at a cheaper price. ... show more
