The two-toned design adds a nice touch to my home office space. The desk is very sturdy and well-made, with plenty of storage space for all of my office supplies. The drawers are spacious. The storage shelves are also a great feature, allowing me to keep my workspace organized and clutter-free. Great desk, the assembly was super easy just follow the directions. I did use a drill and that did help with time. Everything aligned at the end so I was super excited. The size and storage is very functional with me working from home. A must buy since it’s very practical and super adorable.

Ended up really liking this desk for my daughters room. Very sturdy once put together. The instructions are very clear so that’s nice and they give you enough supplies. Make sure to have your own screw driver though as the one they provide is a bit small for some of the angles, you’ll need a longer one for sure. This took me about 5 hours to put together but I did take a couple snack breaks lol. I put it together by myself while watching Hell’s Kitchen so it wasn’t terribly stressful, you can totally do this if you’re doubting it. Sturdy. Assembly took 2.5 hours for me, while I was working, pretty simple directions. Perfect height and the L shape length offers plenty of space. My brother bought the same desk for his daughter; it took him 30 mins. Great price for a nice desk.

This is almost like two desks in one which is perfect for me. I work from home and do PC gaming but I also has a pretty extensive beauty routine, and its nice to not have to use the same space for my nice computer setup and my nail polish/makeup/various other things that are sticky and stain-y. Building phase: Any able-bodied beginner should be able to build this alone. The instructions say you need two people but I think that must be just for liability reasons because I easily built this by myself and I'm not strong. There is one step where you lift the wooden desk pieces onto the metal frame but the large ones really can't weigh more than about 20 lbs apiece. Out of the box, it might look overwhelming and complicated to build but if you follow step by step and don't get creative, or try to do it in a hurry, you'll be absolutely fine. I especially appreciate the screw-locking mechanism that makes the drawers perfectly flush with each other, that was kind of magical Note: it says you need a hammer for the dowels but I just used the heel of my hand to bop them in and it was fine. One recommendation, if you don't have a drill, wear gloves with some grip or you might get blisters from the amount of hand-screwing. ... show more

I assembled this desk by myself. I am a woman and I am not a professional. I just read the instructions and at times watched the assembly video. However, I found the written instructions more helpful for me. I will admit this was a beast to put together. It took me over 4 hours but I did it. You have to really be detailed oriented with these types of things. Pay attention to the directions and positions of holes, otherwise you may have to disassemble to reassemble. There are areas in the instructions when it reccomends having 2 people. I did those areas by myself. 2 people aren't necessary but could be helpful. I will also say that I used a power drill for all of the Phillips screws label "d". I started just using the screw driver provided and doing it by hand but it was really hurting my hand. A light touch with a power drill really made that easier but it's not 100% necessary. All of the other screws, I did by hand and they were easy. Everything is labeled nicely. Don't let the assembly discourage you. It's nice once it's together. Just take your time and be prepared to invest some time on it. It's very sturdy. It comes in 2 heavy boxes. I received both boxes at the same time. It looks like the picture. I deducted 1 star because the drawers aren't deep. The front of the drawers is high but the sides and back are low.
