Love this holder! It is exactly as pictured, compact size and I like the dispensing feature. It makes it easy to take out Q-tips without removing the lid. the plastic is brittle and I believe it can break easily if it falls. It still is my favorite pick over other similar holders as the price is great, the wooden lid looks beautiful, and though it's not so durable a holder like this is usually not being moved or carried around a lot and you don't need to take off the lid every time. The design is adorable, and the size is perfect for keeping my vanity or bathroom counter neat and organized. It holds just the right amount of Q-tips without taking up too much space, which I really appreciate. However, I was a little disappointed in its sturdiness. It feels lighter than I expected, and when pulling out a Q-tip, it tends to tip over too easily. A heavier base or a more balanced design would make it much more functional. The media could not be loaded. I have tried other q-tip dispensers in the past, but always ended up reverting to the functional option of keeping them in their original box under the bathroom counter. But when I saw this one, I thought it was worth a try. Unlike a lot of the "pretty" medicine jar ones, this one actually uses gravity to its advantage. The q-tips naturally come down, don't rotate or get stuck, and refilling is a breeze. While the clear acrylic is light, it's surprisingly sturdy on that you can get a q-tips quite easily without the dispenser moving all over the counter.
