Love this holder! It is exactly as pictured, compact size and I like the dispensing feature. It makes it easy to take out Q-tips without removing the lid. the plastic is brittle and I believe it can break easily if it falls. It still is my favorite pick over other similar holders as the price is great, the wooden lid looks beautiful, and though it's not so durable a holder like this is usually not being moved or carried around a lot and you don't need to take off the lid every time. For what it is it’s a decent price and I used it to hold my spray tan sticker rolls and it keeps them nice and neat while people can pull them from the bottom. Purchased this to replace a small container like it which was lighter and caused swabs to be caught in the bottom dispense area, making it hard to remove them - very frustrating. So thankful we ordered this! It is more sturdy, a bit larger and definitely easier to access than our last container! Easy to get swabs from the bottom. Removing the lid is no problem either. The media could not be loaded. I have tried other q-tip dispensers in the past, but always ended up reverting to the functional option of keeping them in their original box under the bathroom counter. But when I saw this one, I thought it was worth a try. Unlike a lot of the "pretty" medicine jar ones, this one actually uses gravity to its advantage. The q-tips naturally come down, don't rotate or get stuck, and refilling is a breeze. While the clear acrylic is light, it's surprisingly sturdy on that you can get a q-tips quite easily without the dispenser moving all over the counter. The q-tips don't really roll out very easily and kind of stick to each other so it's hard to grab them from the dispenser. I will continue to use it since it saves up space on the counter but it's not really functional.
