I am just getting back into playing electronic darts after a 25-year hiatus and know that 'bar darts' are terrible. After spending way too much time researching the various styles, makes, weights, etc. of darts, shafts, etc. I ended up choosing TARGET Darts Echo 90% Tungsten Soft Tip Darts Set | Pixel Tip Darts, Professional Darts. ....and what did they do for my game results? ...I learned that it wasn't JUST the cheap, light, bar-darts that caused my accuracy to stink so badly. I learned that I could no longer blame my hitting a single '1' instead of a triple 20 as I had aimed for wasn't just because of the darts I was using, and that playing darts for the first (or 100th) time again after 25 years was NOT like riding a bicycle, and that I could no longer blame anything except for my lack of practicing.... as anything worth having in this life requires time, sacrifice, and usually pain (and in this case the 'pain' came from my arthritic elbows, knees, fingers, neck, back, and honestly I can go on and on here lol.. but the strongest, most irritating pain was the 'pain' of watching myself hit everything except what I was aiming at! lol). There is no easy way, or shortcuts when it comes to getting better skill sets. It takes time and repetition to practice and learn from watching and listening to others about things that I was doing wrong (or right in some cases), but at least I know now that my pathetic dart game isn't because my darts are bad. Now I know it is without a doubt 100% on me and me only, and if I dedicate the time to practice I will indeed continue to get better. I did change out the flights, opting to try various styles, which of course also had me researching far longer than I should have because in the end it comes down to the individuals throwing style, and if you're starting over again like I am, then your likely trying different stances, force behind your throws, etc, until you find that perfect spot where you can get the desired results, with a natural stance and throw suited for your body type, height, etc. These darts were fine the way they were right out of the box, but I would suggest getting yourself some backup flights, etc. as flights get ruined over time, and you may want to experiment with different shaft sizes, etc. but right out of the package I would say that these are a good starting point. However, in retrospect, if you are relearning like myself, or completely new to the game I would suggest asking other dart players in your area about what they chose and why, and if possible try to throw some of other peoples darts to give you a better idea of what weight, shaft sizes, and flights suit your throwing style and comfort with good results. Ask, learn, and try in other words, as it can save you a lot of money as darts can get expensive but unless you're a professional dart player chances are that you will not notice a whole lot of difference between things like different shaft lengths... but I would suggest getting durable ones as your darts may be bouncing onto the floor when you're first learning and you don't want to be stuck in the middle of a game with a useless dart because your shaft broke and you didn't have a replacement one on hand. First dart, hit the board and didn't stick, whatever... sometimes that happens... the dart hits the floor and the flight shaft snapped. FANTASTIC!!! Paid a lot of money for cheap junk.

I like the overall slim shape for tight groupings. And the grip is really aggressive, the reason I picked these darts. I’m a carpenter so I have rough hands and these are some of the only darts I can throw with th assurance I’ll have good grip every time.
