The product is cute and packaged well but the necklace ropes are too cheap. The necklace ropes are plastic and have a plastic plug in type hook. They unhook fast which I am sure is for safety but at the same time it breaks apart and beads are everywhere. The character pieces are made of a rubber like material. The character pieces are very detailed so they are cute. The beads are just regular colored beads. The case everything comes in is hard plastic and does lock so it can be used for other small toys or little treasures.
