    • Packaging is a little sloppy, but markers are great
The markers are exactly what they say. A fine tip on one end and brush tip on the other. The colors are bright and the ink flows smoothly. Perfect for coloring or arts and crafts. When they arrived, the markers were falling out of the envelope/case. They weren't used, just oddly packed. I could not get all 36 markers to fit back in the envelope after examining them.     • Juicy, vibrant colors, caps are a real struggle!
These are lovely markers, with a lot of colors to choose from, however, the caps are so stinkin' hard to pull off for the first time-- especially on the fine point side of the marker because it's small and hard to get a good grip. There were a few markers where I thought I might not even be able to get them off-- that's how challenging they can be! After popping them off and putting them back on a few times it gets easier, but the fine point side is still too hard for a young child. Maybe with more wear and time they would get easy enough for a young child to do themselves, but be prepared to be the official cap-popper until then lol. That's really my only complaint about these markers-- everything else about them has been great. So, if you're an adult looking for a small-ish pack of markers for some fun coloring etc, then these markers should be ok (after a few cap-pops lol) but if you're looking for a gift for a child who is younger than say, 15 years old, then I would probably look elsewhere, or pre-pop the caps to prep them so they're not so hard to do lol. ... show more

This is a really nice set of dual tip markers .. There's so many colors and you can see them all clearly. They work really well too. The colors are vibrant but don't bleed through unless you're using plain notebook paper (they don't bleed through them either but you can clearly see the words from the other side... Which I expected). This would be the perfect set for someone into journaling, scrapbooking, or drawing. ... show more

    • great color, flow easily so free-form art is easy
I've taken up drawing as of late and these work great for my new-found hobby. I like to do abstract work, so having a great variety of colors is important to me. The ink in these flows very well and I've used them with card-stock, paper, linen and canvas with good results. The colors when dry don't change hue and they seem to be very durable. ... show more

These markers come with a lot of colors to pick from. They write smoothly and are great for adult coloring books, writing letters and kid coloring books.     • Good Markers, super hard to open
These markers are pretty good, they have a good amount of pigment and none were dried out. The only bone I have to pick with them is that it is SUPER hard to get the fine liner end open. It is good that they close tightly so the markers don't get dried out and the caps don't fall off, but it was a fight to get almost every fine liner cap off to try them out. ... show more

    • Juicy markers with some gotcha's
These dual-tip ink markers have good and bad features Good points: 36 bright colors including a color reference card (nice!) Juicy ink especially in the brush tip. Dual tip, fine tip and broad brush tip Colors range from lightest flesh pink to dark browns, purples and black Good choices of landscape colors like blues, browns and greens Not a big investment Not-so-good points: The caps are so very, very tight. I had to push and twist to get them off and it was a struggle. Do I want to to be doing than when drawing? Then, when you remove the brush tip cap the ink streaks onto your hand as you are manipulating it rather strongly, and as the cap comes off it's hard to control the pen to keep it from stroking onto your hand. The caps require a good push to uncap and re-cap them. If you buy them for your children, are they going to be able to uncap or recap these? If young, no they won't have the hand strength. I barely could manage getting them on or off. If your kids don't take pains to push the cap until it clicks fully back on, these pens will dry out quickly due to air exposure. That applies to us grownups too, if we forget and don't stop to really click the cap back on firmly. The snap case is flimsy; there are more or less "slots" to hold the pens but the pnes soon end up in a jumble, making it hard to snap close the case. A better storage would be a big jar, a plastic tub or one of those rotating pen desk holders. or even a big ziplock bag. If you don't come by and police these pens to make sure the caps are on tight, they'll be rolling about without caps and the caps may disappear. Or the cap being loose will allow the pen to dry out quickly. So these are, despite the affordability, not the best choice for children. The pens will dry out and meanwhile ink will be rolling all over every surface and article of clothing. Who will enjoy these? People who do coloring, manga artists and people needed a large set of affordable dual tip drawing markers. A small pliers would be handy for the caps. A reminder note taped to the outside of your storage container to push down the cap FIRMLY. Bottom line: really good deal but probably not great for kids, despite looking like a fabulous deal. The case and the caps are a problem. Other than that, fabulous set. ... show more
