This works pretty well, and charges gellets very well. It even WORKS ON GEL BLASTER BRAND blasters - it just needs to be fitted to align the feed neck hole with the receiving hole in the blaster, and that's easily done - pretty much just push it on all the way. And it's more durable than it appears at first. I have had a switch go out on one, but the manufacturer replaced it free. Other than that, we have gotten a lot of these and I really like it. The battery lasts a long time. And it charges with a common USB-C port and ANY USB-A power source, so I can plug it in with my phone charger if I want. Versatile! Also I like not replacing batteries all the time. I just charge before use to top it off and then I never end up running it down fully. It always lasts longer than my glow gel ball supply lasts. LOL! The media could not be loaded. I needed to use a small cutting wheel on a dremel tool to trim off the front corners of the mount so it could fit onto my Surge XL. Once the corners were chopped off, seems to work great. Check out the photos and the video clip to see what I did.

    • Super fun, just dont over tighten
These paired with the glow balls are so cool at night. The feedneck does its job, just dont over tighten it as the clamp will crack. Battery life will last 1 or 2 nights of play.

    • Arrived with a broken power switch
The physical extension part of the power switch was broken off when I opened the package, in the on position. Can't turn it off unless I desolder the switch and replace it, or somehow attach an extension. Might try tapping what is there and installing a little M2 or similar size screw, but I suspect I'll break the switch in the process. Anyway, as it is I have to charge it right before I plan to use it, and it's on the whole time so it doesn't charge very quickly. ... show more

We are very satisfied with this purchase. I not only left the glow in the dark gel beads in the sun but this light enhances the glow alot. Infact, I ordered two more the same day it came in.     • Didn't line up with hole, super cheap
This was supposed to fit the gun I got but the hole didn't line up and I had to take the adjusting piece basically all the way off to even get it to slide on there.

First off, to answer my biggest question that was nowhere in the listing. Theres about 1000 gels in each pack. 1 800 round hopper full and some left over. I trimmed a bit of plastic off and they work great with my gel blaster brand blaster. Nova, surge, etf. I cut about a 45 degree angle to match the feedneck that comes on the gel blaster nova. The gels included start larger than the gel blaster brand ones but seem to hydrate like normal. Ill update after more use ... show more
