I purchased these to work with gouache, specifically Himi gouache, which likes to stain and can be hard to remove. These palettes are great to mix colors on and they wash off easily and quickly! Just take a paper towel and some water and the paint comes off and the palette is completely clean. The only issue I had was with the shrink wrap it comes packaged in, it is quite difficult to remove. It had to use a knife which scratched a palette on one side, so I just use the other side. Great value for the money. I bought one pack for myself and then donated two packs to the place where I'm staying. They're very sturdy, easy to use, and work great so far with the mediums I've used. The weight is nice, though I don't hold them while I use them, I just set them on the table. They're very sleek in appearance, and I imagine that removing the paint from them will be quite easy. These are great to use, but it is a PAIN to get the paint off of these. It’s not that thick, but it still gets the job done. it’s perfect for reusing over and over again instead of having to use something like a plastic plate or something like that.
