This is not just for acrylic painting, it does a wonderful job for watercolors as well. It looks just like the picture, so I did not take a picture of what I received. It is sturdy, but flexible. There are lots of bits and pieces to use, all attached. You can clean your brush, lay it out to dry, scrape paint off, soak your brush, it even has a handy place for water color pans or acrylic paint. I recently enrolled in a watercolor class. I was considering the purchase of TWO portable tools - a sealable palette and a water source - when I came across this tool for the price of just one of those. Its palette offers enough wells to keep several colors fresh and safe. Its box has two compartments - one for fresh water and one with a scrubbing surface and leaning holders for cleaning and soaking brushes. (I hadn't even thought about that!) The bonus feature is the graduated sizes of holes for keeping brushes organized and accessible. (I hadn't even thought about that either!) The whole thing cleans up nicely and packs away securely. My child loves using this. Uses a bit too much paint for canvas but the enclosed part holds the paint and they don't dry out so it's not wasted and we can use the paint days even 2 weeks or more after being stored. Highly recommend this product for your little artists in the making.

I love this thing! I actually bought it for my boyfriend to use (I was just using old pickle jars) because he kept leaving my brushes in the water to clean them. Plus it came in blue! His favorite color. Lol Now I use it all the time. I absolutely love the brush cleaner and the reshaper. It's super sturdy and I don't go through nearly as much water as I did with my jars! The lid for the pallet actually keeps my paints from drying out as quickly. I often use a spritz of water before closing the lid and that makes it last even longer. ... show more
