I am not sure if it will work out for him, but he liked it. Very small pieces so hopefully he can keep track of them. The other kids might make it hard for him. My fault, probably should have ordered one with less number of pieces. He loves building and history so he was happy.

We love this Roman arch building set! My kids have built it several times at this point. I'm looking into purchasing some of the other architectural models that they offer to supplement our history program. I did have to deal with the customer service at Taksa Toys and it was wonderful, beyond reproach! Their response was very prompt and very kind. We homeschool and are in an expansive unit about the Roman Empire. When we studied Roman arches, we tried making a marshmallow and icing arch, and while it was fun, it didn't really teach the true method of the Roman arch. This block set accurately shows how a Roman arch was built and has a pleasing result when the kiddo finishes the arch. My daughter (9), who is quite the master Lego builder, tried to make another structure with these blocks, but found that unfulfilling since the set doesn't have any extra blocks included, only exactly enough to create the Roman arch. My kids found the feel of the blocks interesting. They aren't slick, nor are they sticky. The blocks have a particular feel to them that makes them stay together when stacked. I found the set very helpful within a unit of study on Roman or architecture. I think this is a wonderful addition to a classroom, a bit less so at home. While my daughter likes it, it's limited in how many times she will use it, but in a classroom, it will be useful for many students over many years. Just be sure to keep account of ALL the pieces - without any extra pieces, missing one piece means this set is useless. I would call this a 5 star product if extra pieces were included - it's educational, engaging, and fun. Just have that concern that a piece will go missing!
