These nightstands look great and are incredibly convenient with the built in charging panel. The biggest issues are due to the peg locks and dowels the manufacturer uses to secure the nightstand together. They don't work well. They don't hold the peices together as you are assembling and they give you a woeful amount of wood glue. 1 recommendation and 2 modifications to make these great. - Make sure you have 2 people to work on them. If the panels don't lock, they will collapse and tear up the particle board. - Throw the wood glue they give you away and just buy some Titebond or Gorilla wood glue. The glue they give is isn't great and you'll need a ton more. - Buy 8 black 1.25' L brackets (or bronze and some black spray paint) and use 4 to secure the legs to the top and 4 to secure the legs to the bottom (see photos). Make sure the screws that come with are small enough not to punch through or buy some smaller screws. These modifications make it tighter, more square and less wobbly. I'm not sure how long it would have lasted without them. With them, I have no doubt they'll last and out up with some abuse. ... show more

The description is accurate….it states engineered wood (particleboard) with a photo film vynal top coat and that is what it is. It looks attractive when assembled, it is functional. It does what it is intended to do. However this is not something you will cherish and take with you if you move. Nothing compares to real wood. The assembly process is long and tedious, it will take hours of time. Picture instructions are accurate, if you look at all the small details and follow them precisely!!!! If you don’t pay attention, then you will be frustrated. Take your time and follow each step as instructed. I think for the price, and the amount of time to complete, and quality of materials (pressboard) its not a super great deal…..its looks nice in my bedroom but I wish I opted for solid wood construction and spent the extra money. ... show more

I bought two of the white nightstands and i absolutely love them! The outlet options are a huge plus, it comes with two outlets and 2 usb ports. The first nightstand probably took me 4 hours to build but the second one only took an hour once I knew what I was doing. The instructions are pretty straight forward but definitely pay very close attention to detail. I kept messing up the draws steps so be careful at that part. I also wouldn’t recommend a power tool because the wood is delicate and it may break with the use of a power tool. Overall I am very pleased with my purchase ... show more
