I purchased this in March 2021. I now have to reorder a new one. 2+ years is a great life span. I'm hard on watch bands. I work in various climate conditions. This watch band is cost affective for me.

So I have mixed reviews on this watch protector. I want to say first and foremost this protector is the real deal. It will protect the outside parts of the Apple Watch there’s not doubt about it. Not so much the front as it doesn’t have a screen protector but you can purchase one for just a few dollars so no harm there. Some individuals may not want one so this give you the option and can eventually appeal to everyone. For $13 I would but this over and over again for the protection aspect, that being said the only issue I personally have with it is it’s a little bulky for me and at times, and especially the first week, it’s gets uncomfortable as it will bind and pinch up on the back of the wrist. After 2 weeks of wearing it it’s becoming normal. I have found I am taking it off more then I ever have in years past, just to give wrist some relief. I’ve been a fan of the bands that you can pull and tighten and this doesn’t have that type so it’s either just a little too tight of just s little too loose. I work s physical job so protecting the expensive watch is a much and this does the trick. Comes in a variety of color options to suit your needs ... show more

Updated: Since getting the gray band I’ve also gotten the neon green and blue. I love all three. They do a great job protecting my watch and are ruggedly upscale attractive. I’ve also dealt directly with this company’s customer service which responded immediately to my questions about cleaning the bands. They’re also GREAT and very customer friendly. I highly recommend these watch bands and the T-Engine company. Glad I found them! I'm a small-sized woman but I've always loved rugged looking sports watches. I'm also really into protecting my Apple Watch, especially since there's no fix to a cracked screen - only an exchange which can be costly even with AppleCare. I've been looking online for a durable good-looking sports band and finally settled on this one. It arrived yesterday and I'm beyond pleased. I got the gray which looks great. I love khaki green but this is advertised as military green and that wasn't appealing to me. I agree with another reviewer who lamented the fact that his screen protector got scrunched up with this band. The same thing is happening to my screen protector even though I've tried to fix it a couple times. This is problematic because I want to protect my screen. I'll try to find a fix for this but it won't change my mind about this watch band. I do wish there were more colors. My apple watch is red and I would have loved to get a red band (even though I know the red on my watch would be hidden). All in all, this is a great buy. If anyone can suggest a fix for the screen protector problem I'd really appreciate it. ... show more

If you plan to wear it while cutting down trees, or landscaping it will get packed with sawdust and dirt. It’s so easy to remove/install that you can just take it off and clean it. Haven’t had it long enough to comment on durability.
