I love my Apple watch (series 5), 40mm. But I also loved the type of watches that came with sturdy bands that I could buckle around my wrist, like the cheap watches one can buy at a discount store. This band fulfills everything I wanted, because not only does it buckle, it also provides a type of "bumper" protection for the watch as I'm always hitting it up against something. As for charging my watch, the back of the band allows it to fit both types of chargers that I own without any problem. Also, I've always been a little leary of the way Apple bands attach to the watch itself. What if they come off, or slip off, or become less dependable due to constantly changing out the bands? This band doesn't attach that way, rather my watch slips inside the case. It does NOT have a watch face cover, which is a good thing because those cases fill with water from the shower when I go swimming or simply from sweat. That water/moisture then creates a type of barrier preventing me from using the front of the watch as the watch would no longer recognize my touch. I have only found one problem with this band, and that's when I try to turn the dial on the side when it's wet. After a shower or when I go swimming, I have the watch in "water lock," it is very difficult to turn the dial to turn off the water lock. However, that is the only problem I've found with the band. This band looks rugged and tough, which is hard for me to find in a watch band as I have small wrists. It’s clean and not as uncomfortable as I thought it would be given the material. I’m actually planning on purchasing a few more of these in different colors. Thanks!

It said it would arrive on Monday, but it came in on Sunday which is pretty nice, anyway overall it’s nice, it’s comfortable, it’s pretty light, the only 2 down falls i see really is if you larger wrist, this may not be the band you want to get. Also does not come with a screen protector but that isn’t a big deal, it’s raised up a little around the face of the watch so it won’t directly hit the screen if you drop it. The color is exactly the same in the picture, it’s made out of this rubber/plastic material so i can see how it’ll protect the watch. ... show more

As a lot of the reviews mentioned, this band is not made for large wrist. I measured my wrist before buying it and mine is about 6.75” in diameter. I have to put the buckle in the second to last slot to be comfortable. It would be better in the last slot but then there is little strap left over to tuck into the strap holder. I like the ruggedness of the build and the soft rubber material used. If you’re wrist is 7” then I’d look for another band. If it wasn’t so small in diameter, I’d give it 5 stars. ... show more

looks and feels well made and sturdy, i wld def. buy again. 3 drawbacks: turning stem is more difficult (setting alarms and timers for example); my watch dims and brightens MUCH more often than usual and does not brighten as quickly and easily as usual; and i suspect related to last issue, battery drains @15-20% more quickly than usual. ... show more

I actually like this band ALOT. It doesn't feel cheaply made. Good material. Comfortable. I work out and it does great. I also like the comfort of knowing that if I accidentally bang it against something, the small lip will keep the screen from making contact. Plus I also like the bulkier look of it as it's not too bulky. I just love the different look it gives my Apple Watch. I have the one that fits the 40mm. I would Deff recommend the seller and watch band. I plan to buy other colors. ... show more

You want a review, here it is. This is a great watch band and case. I have not had it for a long time at this point, but I could see it lasting a very long time with me. It is not as rugged as I expected, which is a positive, and it is comfortable to wear. My only warning is that the band is not super long. I do not have the world's largest wrist, but I am on the second to last available hole. So if you have strong, large, and durable wrists, this is not the product for you. Awesome orange color just what I was looking for ! I wanted a comfortable sports case for my Apple Watch and this catches my eye is cool looking but not too girly or over the top . It is thick but I don’t mind it at all . The case is made from like a rubber not plastic and also around the screen , it is rised a bit so helps protect the glass on your Apple Watch but you definitely still do need a temper glass screen protector . It will not work or fit if you have a hard shell screen protector it needs to be film or like I said temper glass stick on . ... show more
