The cable arrived as described with no issues. It was packaged nicely in a box with instructions. I was looking for a good quality alternative to the expensive OEM version. This was a good choice. I ordered and received the 16ft cable. So, as said before this is a very good cable from a quality perspective but it is rigid in my opinion. It is well constructed and appears to use quality materials. All connections fit snug into their respective ports. How my son uses the cable being rigid doesn’t affect it use from his perspective. Functionality wise it works as intended. My son has had no issues with the cable while using it with his Quest 3 and when using with Steam VR. I have had no complaints from him and he is the household expert on this matter. Overall, it is a great alternative to the more expensive OEM. Even thought it could be more flexible it is a very good link cable. It met both our expectations. I would recommend this cable to others. ... show more

This is a very speedy charging cord that I use with my phone and ipad. It charges quickly and the cord is reinforced where the plug goes into the wire. That means a longer life from the older cords that bend at the junction of plug to wire. No frills, just a good all-around charging cord. It works wonders on my Quest 3 for gaming, no issues at all. My only gripe is it only reaches around 8W according to my MacBook, so it does not charge fast at all. I am making this a 5 star and not a 4 star because this is an error on my end. The product does everything it's designed to do.

The media could not be loaded. I've only had it for a couple of days and my pcvr experience has gone from barely playable through airlink and virtual desktop to as good if not better than playing stand alone. Defintely much better value than buying an official cable from the oculus store as it's around 80 dollars. Unfortunately I have had an issue in one game lone echo where the lighting was buggy flashing and pixely which wasn't an issue before on air link though it was completely unplayable back then. It may not even be due to the cable but I felt I may as well point that out. Boneworks works great phasmaphobia is playable as well. The only other issue I have had is in the oculus link menu itself it's very buggy but that's most likely a oculus issue since it's widely regarded as a failure and has known issues. Games run good steam VR menu runs good but you have to run it through the link menu. I recommend just using steam VR through the cable instead of relying on the official link menu. If you can't completely upgrade your internet and router and tinker with your internet settings or buy a d link device for 100 dollars just to have a better but still not as good experience as linked by cable then this is defintely for you. ... show more

I got this so I would be able to use my Pico 4 VR headset as primarily a PCVR headset, which it works great so far. It keeps the headset charged long enough for the amount of time I'm usually in VR, while also allowing a wired connection to my PC. Even though it's a couple dollars more, I would highly recommend the 20' version, since it gives a little extra room over 16', though I'm sure either would be enough for many people.     • Does Not Work With Quest 2

Upon opening and first using the cord it worked for hours but after using it once when I went to plug it back-in I got met with "You have been disconnected from your PC, Unplug and reinsert the link cable to continue using meta link" or something like that. So I did and didn't think much of it and the connection continued to work. Then that same message continued to pop up constantly on my second day with this cable. Then my device on the quest app said my device had an issue, then the entire app on my pc froze and had to run self diagnostics to fix itself and after trying to fix it for like two hours I had no luck and was stuck in the same loop. Which led me to look at the one star reviews on here of this cord and wouldn't you know it, everyone with a one star review has the same issue or worse. So after doing more research I would only recommend buying the Oculus branded $80 meta link cable unfortunately. I say this because not only will it guarantee compatibility but any third party cord is not covered by your Quest's warranty and if it were to damage your quest you would be out of luck. Also I see this issue is common with third party type C to C cables as well. The Oculus link cable is type c to c though so if you are looking for a type A to C then I am not sure what your best bet is. I'm sure their is a solution but it is definitely not this cord! I forgot to mention I know my motherboard ports and I had this in a 3.2 Usb Port like it requests and like I said it worked for hours then it just shut down on me when I went to reuse it after having to charge my headset as this cord does not charge it at all and that's when the problem got worse and worse to the point I tried every port on my pc. I don't know what Mark did to lock down the market for this device to only work with his $80 Cord but Kudos. Will be returning this product for that one, hope this helped! ... show more
