The headlights were as described and now that they have been installed they give off plenty of white light for rural roads whether high or low beams. I installed these headlights on a 2018 Chevrolet Cruze Hatchback Premier with projection headlights. The headlights that came with the car are Sylvania 9005 SL Silverstar and the ones I purchased are Sylvania 9005 ST Silverstars. I replaced both headlights even though only one had went out. Huge upgrade for my 2012 civic. I live in a rural area and commute 30+ minutes in windy roads. And these have made a huge difference. Perfectly bright, not too blue, not yellow.

These Sylvania Silverstars really rock. They are brighter than my OE headlamp bulbs and whiter! I can see further down the road and more clearly. I liked them so much I also bought the Silverstar foglamp bulbs for my truck. These things work so well that I can safely drive with only my foglights on! Way cool! I had purchased a set of the GP Thunder 7500K headlamps from goldduo_tw on ebay because they were advertised as HID superwhite and superbright. After receiving them I found them to have a pretty blue glass but they were in no way an HID as advertised as they were an incandescent like the standard OE bulbs. After the first use I found that they had fogged up my headlamp assembly. They were also so dark, during use, that visibility down the road was effectively reduced by about half over the standard OE headlamp bulb. After removing the bulbs to install the new Silverstars, I found that the GP Thunder bulbs had some sort of inadequate plastic blue coating instead of the color being the quartz glass. Having that blue coating over the bulb was like putting a weld helmet shade over the bulb and cut the light output. I won't go back to GP Thunder or goldduo_tw. I am sold on Sylvania and will not buy anything else in the future. I am already looking for Silverstar replacement bulbs for the brake/taillight and backup lamps. Since the Factory supplied "Junk" only last about 2 years on this 2008 Chevrolet HHR, one unexpectedly went out on me when travelling so I stopped and purchased one at an auto parts store to replace it, made in China Crap it was but all I could get there out of town away from my local sources.. It blew out on High Beam before I could make it home on a 800 mile round trip, mostly daytime driving too so I went looking for something better on Amazon.com and found it in the form of this Sylvania product MADE IN THE USA as neither the factory bulb was nor the replacement either, bought 2 twin packs for future use, replaced both bulbs with Sylvania H13 9008 ST BP Silverstar Headlight bulbs and now, better light, more than likely reliability too but the 2 year mark is a long way off to tell, as I am told the average for those bulbs is 2 years. I'll find out the truth on that when the time comes. I have another car made in 1983 that still has original bulbs in the Headlights but that is a story for another time I Guess!!!!!! This is a superior product and supports American workers and the people in Business to sell their products, I will order more bulbs for family members cars from this vendor also, fast shipping and well protected from breakage, if there was something I could complain about you know at this point I would but there is nothing at all to with this product and vendor selling it... Feel safe in making your purchase, the "Trail" has been scouted for you by myself ahead of you, 100% approval rating in all areas here...Sylvania H13 (9008) ST BP TWIN SilverStar Headlight - Pack of 2 Update on H13 Sylvania Silverstar High Performance Headlight bulbs, one of the pair went out on low beam/daytime running lights 9/5/2015, not a bad run considering they have been on both day and night while the car has been driven since 2011 and gained about 55,000 miles since then so I'm completely satisfied.. Im not so “Bright” for getting these Silverstar headlights for my F150 as they are not very bright. They work if ya just need something cheap, to get ya bye. Im Disappointed

I put both of these in my Subaru. They were noticably brighter than the OEM (albeit several years old). Installation was just a couple minutes with zero issues. Very happy with these. Also appreciate the price, as these were about 15% less than the price at Walmart.
