Bought 2 white mats and loved the way they looked in my white sinks, but they stain easily and now looks dirty all the time. I am careful not to let food or drink sit on them too long and they are frequently washed in the dishwasher, but they will not return to a clean white like they were initially. Bleaching doesn’t see to help much either.

... but this sink mat has prompted me to do so. I live in an old house with the original farmhouse type porcelain sink -- not one of those new stainless steel ones with the fancy faucet thinking they're all that because they are wide and deep -- and I've always used a mat to protect both the sink and my dishes and glassware. Perhaps it was my naivete, but I always purchased a mat that laid directly on the bottom of the sink, that did not have a cut-out for the drain, and did not fill the entire bottom of the sink. Didn't know they made them like this one until I was fed up and shopped for a while finally lighting on this mat. It is the best ever (I've lived in this house for 36 years and gone through many mats) and I hope I can write again to say how long it lasts. Thanks for a great product.

fits my sink perfectly with full coverage to protect the sink and my wife's china should a piece of china be dropped by accident. I like that it is open at the sink drain to make it easier to put fragments of food down the drain and into the disposal. my previous sink mat had no opening for the drain or disposal so the mat had to be pulled back to expose the sink opening and it had suction cups to keep in place . and that made it more difficult to pull up. I knew that I needed to look for a new one and so happy to have found this one.
