We received the Modern Barrel Armchair in good condition, but unfortunately, it was missing essential items needed to assemble it fully, notably screws and other necessary parts. Despite thoroughly checking the entire package, these items were absent, preventing us from completing the assembly and utilizing the chair as intended. This chair was very easy to assemble. A few bolts were needed to attach the base to the top part of the chair and I had that done in less than 5 minutes. It is a very comfortable chair and looks great in my home office. It is very easy to swivel with little effort. It is well worth the price.

First off the quality is really good, the fabric is thick and soft. The material seems heavy duty. The whole chair is really heavy but I love that it doesn’t feel cheap or that you may break it. The package arrived semi opened on one side, so I lost the set of washers. It only needs four screws for washers and four split washers. It literally takes two minutes to put this together. However, the washers were gone thank goodness I had some spares, and it’s functioning perfectly. ... show more

Chair is very solid. The base swivels very smooth. Check your parts bag closely as mine was missing all washers but I found some of my own to use. Once together it’s a good heavy solid chair. Good addition to living/family room.

NOT FOR HOMES WITH PETS This is a high quality upholstered swivel chair. The stitching was perfect with a good choice of fabric. However, the design is flawed such that your pets can get under the skirt to be hurt in the open swivel mechanism. I had to return this chair.
