    • It does swim! And my 5 year old is obsessed!
I knew my little girl would LOVE this for her birthday, but I noticed all the reviews that said the toy was too top heavy to swim, so I became hesitant. I decided to show my daughter a few options and this is still the toy she wanted most for her birthday present (even after I explained it couldn't swim). So I bought it and when she opened it on her birthday, to our delight, discovered that it totally swims fine! The body is submerged while the head bobs above water as it "swims" around for about 10 seconds after each wind up. This toy is a must have for my 5 year old now whenever she takes a bath or goes to the pool :) ... show more

Paw Patrol Loving child was obsessed with this. Had played with it at someone's house but not in the water. I read reviews and people complained that it doesn't swim. That is true. The weight of it doesn't allow it to balance in the water. If that's a problem, you don't want to buy it. But if you're just looking for something paw patrol awesome it's great. Basically a total meh toy that never stays upright. Ridiculous price outside of Amazon.

    • Skye works and does not fall over
The Skye that we got does not tip over. With most of her body in the water and her head and front paws out of the water she seems to do what she is supposed to do. Her body is more vertical than horizontal in the water. The people that said she tipped over may not have had enough water in the tub.

My grand daughter asked for it fir Christmas so bought it even tho reviews were bad. She loved it. I didnt think much of it. The hand-wind does not make it move for more than 5 or 10 seconds. It doesnt float well, it is vertical in the water. If you hold it under the water while winding, it floats better. But in the end my granddaughter loved it, so I'm glad I bought it.
