I was unsure about ordering shrimp in the mail but all the reviews were so good I decided to give it a shot. It took 7 days from the date they were shipped to the day they arrived and I was sure most, if not all, would be dead. I was wrong, thankfully. Not only were they all alive but some shrimplets had been born AND about 5 shrimp were berried. I received 13 shrimp and all were alive and active. They were packaged well. I received 3 blue dream, 3 fire red, 3 orange, 2 blue jelly, and 2 yellow. I have had them now for a little over 2 weeks and I have had just one loss. The extras make up for that, not to mention the berried females! There have also more shrimplets born. I now have blue dream, fire red, blue jelly and orange shrimplets. The yellows were the only color that didn't come berried. I would 100% recommend this seller and these shrimp. I don't have much experience with keeping colored shrimp and I did not know you have to keep the colors seperated so that they will not intermix because if they do then the offspring will turn to their wild brown color. So if you are planning on getting these be aware of that. So now my 10 gallon is divided into 3 sections and 2 other colors are in other tanks. It cost me more to buy the sponge dividers tobdivide my tank than it did to buy the shrimp. That's on me and I'm not complaining. 😁 I will totally order from this seller again and highly recommend them to anyone wanting shrimp. The colors are beautiful and vibrant and the shrimp are healthy and active AND so much less expensive that the shrimp from the stores around me. Healthier too. All 10 arrived alive and well but didnt come with java moss like the order said it would. Not sure why there were none. Otherwise super cool, bright colors. Healthy. One of the orange shrimp was berried.

I broke down and bought these fellas because all the pet stores in my area are sold out of shrimp. (Big city, so many pet stores, none for months! :( ) Received the listed 10+2 shrimp with a great mix of all colors! (2-3 of each) They've made it past the 72 hour mark and appear to be thriving! I have a 25 gallon tank with lots of hiding spaces since it'll be a community tank, so I only see maybe 2-6 shrimp at any given time. But I'm pretty sure they're all there. They've already cleaned all the algae on the glass, so they certainly have great appetites. I was home when they arrived so they could go in the tank as soon as they were acclimated. Transit time was only about 3 days w/ express shipping. My shrimp did arrive a day late despite the shipping option, I assume there was a day to get the order and make the label, then they were sent out. It worked out okay for me but be aware. They were double bagged and well protected. Very happy overall! Two month update: After a week 1 shrimp did pass. Another 4 subsequently passed on to what I assume was stress from adding fish (neon tetras and danios)/two water adjustments throughout the next month. That being said, the rest of the shrimp are still very happy, have reached full size, and have even had so many babies! I'm serious, I counted 11 one day and these little ones are very social and hang out around the tank all the time. They're also growing very fast. My review remains at 5 stars, of course.
