When they arrived I noticed they were very thin. However, they work great. My son spits up quite a bit and so far they have held everything. They have remained absorbent and have held their shape. My only critique at first was that when they first arrived they had strings that had been stuck to them from the product. It took several washings before I would trust that they all came off.
