I just bought this because I wanted a cheap set so I wouldnt break my chrome sockets but Man oh Man Id say this set is worth every penny out your wallet it comes with extensions sae, metric and a rachet I used this set to fix my door trim on my Honda and over that satisfied the build quality is amazing the functionality of the sockets and verity is at best over all id say it saved me money then going on the snap on truck over all recommended this for the price and quality ... show more

I cut some cardboard to put behind the foam to keep the sockets in place with a more snug fit. The universal joint does appear to be cheaply made but the rest has been tested and held up well

The sockets are on par with any decent consumer set. More than adequate for the average handyman. Frankly, I mostly chose this set for the case. I wanted a set with good latches and steel rod style hinges. This set did not disappoint. Those bending plastic style hinges and latches found on others tend to get weak and break apart with a little normal use. Socket set showed up today. Looks to be a decent set for smaller jobs. I got tired if trying to find the right size metric sockets in my old tool box so I bought this set. Sockets appear nice. Ratchet seems to right just fine. Only noticeable downsides I seen was my swivel didn't seem to work very well and would lock in odd positions so it's not useful to me unfortunately. The carrying case seems kinda cheap, but does the job of holding the sockets. The latches holding it closed are kinda loose and seem cheaply made so not sure how long they will last, but they secure the lid fairly well at this time. As a 30 yrs diesel tech and auto tech these were purchased for home use. I use for motorcycle ,auto repair and have zero complaints as with any plastic case they do move out of their position just use a piece of cardboard and it makes it snug . Tool quality is on par with name brand tools . Fit fasteners perfect and haven't been able to round off or crack a socket. ... show more
