Three years ago I got really sick and spent most my days in and out of Neuro Icu units, the EEG tape ripped out chunks of my hair over 2 years leading to my diagnosis. It was devastating. A friend recommended I try tape ins until my hair started to come back. I had never had extensions, and I definitely was afraid of the idea of doing themself having already lost so much of my pretty hair. The local salon wanted over a thousand dollars for tape ins, I found out they got the hair from this company, and that the charges were a lot of random tack ons, and a surplus hourly rate. I got on YouTube started watching videos and made my order. If you’ve never put tape ins before- trust me it’s too easy. If you have every placed a sticker on a sheet of paper you’ll be fine. Infact my 6 year old did the back of my hair, it’s just matching one sticker to line up to another sticker. I thought for sure because of the cost the hair wouldn’t be good. It’s flawless. It’s silky, it’s healthy, and it’s consistent. The quality has always been good- you can trust this company to provide constant good product! I had tried going to a local hair shop to compare it to the “high end” hair and I found out it all bs, the local hair shop hair wasn’t better because it was more money, it was more money because of; shipping, paying a store front, paying an employee etc etc. This hair is top notch- you just got really lucky finding it. The hair is real. 100%. It hold up to heat and styling extremely well and If I’m lazy about care they last 2 uses- for me that’s 6 months. But I usually just buy a new set every month. I mean the quality and the price why not?! But if you did want to reuse, they are good quality and you can, I’m just too lazy to retape lol. I had tried other companies on Amazon because I wasn’t sure if I was missing something, maybe there were a lot of companies like this- no, there aren’t. Don’t bother. Don’t risk wasting money. Stay with these guys. The damage concern was big for me, turns about its more to do with the type of tape used. I don’t know what magic has been applied to these but the tape is strong enough to hold through going to the gym 6 days a week but when it’s time to take them out I’ve literally just put conditioner in, sat in the gym steam room and they just fell out, no pulling, no tearing Best part is: having them in has made me treat my own hair better, I wash it less, I comb more gently and I wrap it at night. My hair is healthier because I use tape ins now. The customer service is AMAZING. I love these people!!!!!!! They send the package always with some type of bonus gift. But even better inside they provide a card for customer service that gives you a million ways to contact them. Unlike other companies who intentionally try to make it difficult to communicate, they WANT to do a good job for you. I wasn’t going to make a review about this product but it has to be done. So i ordered these tape in extensions, someone i know ordered them and like them at first. She also had the similar issues. Anyways, i ordered these tape ins for my daughters birthday party and for the summer, they were wonderful out the box and the first week. After a week/week in a half having them in the texture started changing, When it did come time for me to wash them Not only does the hair bleed, but it stains, Stinks washed. it honestly started to look like a synthetic wig, the texture the shape everything just started looking awful. They did not feel good at all. A few fell out, but for me that’s normal. It wasn’t what I expected or Or from what I read in the reviews because I did read the reviews before I ordered them. But I had to take them when These are professionally put in. They’re supposed to last up to three months. They did not they didn’t even last month. And that has been wearing extensions since I was 16 years old this should not be happening. The only reason I ordered these was Was because the company I originally order from they don’t sell taping extensions anymore or clippings. But my experience with these extensions were awful. This product was a waste of money and I ordered three packs😑 And I definitely won’t be recommending these to anybody. The media could not be loaded. This is my second purchase from this company. This time I got kinky straight 20inches 3 packs. It matched my hair texture very well. Especially with this humidity. I used all three bundles for a full look. I washed and blow dried the tape ins and then flat ironed them. The first photo is installed straight with no curling. The other photo is wand curled. The tapes are strong. My last install lasted three weeks. Hopefully this one will too. I also dyed a bundle for a highlighted look. The dye didn’t take well. I have been installing my own tape ins for around 10 years now, I’ve tried every brand, most Amazon brands and have a pretty good understanding on what good tape ins are. With that being said, the hair is amazing. It’s great quality and IS real hair - I know a lot of reviews are saying it isn’t but it 100% is. They aren’t very thick, quite light. I needed 4 packs and I have fine hair. If you have thick hair you will need more for it to blend properly. One thing that has been annoying is the TAPE. It is not the same quality of the hair. You have to flat iron the sandwiches together and wait minimum 3 days before washing your hair. I am on day 3 and haven’t washed my hair yet and they are still slipping out. Keep in mind I sleep with a silk bonnet on as well. This is probably going to prevent me from purchasing again unfortunately. I love the hair but this is a deal breaker. If you have time to test these out and swap the tape on the ones that slip out then it’s worth it. These would be 5 stars if they didn’t have this issue. ... show more
