I really love this desk. It is a little bit on the small side. I was thinking it was gonna be a little bit bigger but if it’s perfectly in the corner where I want it. I like the cupholder feature along with the headphone holder. I like the second rack for your laptop or your computer monitor. The overall frame seems pretty sturdy and I’ve kind of put this to the test. The LED lights that come with it don’t stick very well and I think I’m gonna have to either superglue them or get some double-sided tape in order for them to stay stuck. I read a lot of reviews that I took people like 3-4 hours, but for me, it only took me like an hour. It wasn’t that hard to put together. Some of the screws on the bottom of the desk we’re a little tough to put in but you have to kind of stretch the metal in order for it to fit the pre-drilled holes. For the price of the desk it’s perfect for any gamer or work from home situation. ... show more

I bought this for my teenage son who homeschools and didn’t have enough room on his smaller desk. The lights came unstuck and was hard to get the backing off it kept rolling in places. The instructions were some what easy to follow we did mess up a couple times but we finally got it fixed it said it would take 20 mins it took us 2 hours but that could be from lack of experience doing this. That being said it is a great and very sturdy desk! He absolutely loves it and it has lots of room for his laptop and books! It also has plug in sockets and usb sockets which help tremendously with chargers! ... show more

    • Easy to put together
It was easy to put together, fits nicely with the rest of my equipment. It would be nice to have more space for notebooks books between the desk and the shelf but it works well enough.

Got this for my 10 year olds birthday. Upon opening the box I find a small piece of broken plastic. I later found it was the corner to the surge protector broke off. The surge protector still installed into the desk fine. The directions were about as basic as an IKEA desk. I usually manage to assemble this type of stuff well either way but this one was a nightmare. Some of the holes don’t line up when you go to install the base to the top. Keep everything slightly lose because you’ll need the wiggle room to adjust. Also be very Leary when inserting the dowels into the top of the desk. They break very easy. I had to slightly lift one side up and all three broke off into the desk. It’s a big desk for a relatively decent price and considering it does come with the surge protector and lights you really can’t beat the price. So, overall I’d do it again. I’d just be mentally prepared to have a frustrating assembly and possibly messed up parts. ... show more

    • Be prepared to have a miserable installation
Oh how foolish I was. I've put together a lot of furniture, and when I saw the parts and the instructions I was confident that I could put this together in an hour. An hour! Ha! Well, the first source of frustration came from the large curved support. As I moved it, the internal parts of the support that you screw into came out. It didn't look to be welded or even glued, just some sharp metal that was hammered into place. The second source was the top of the desk. This was easily two hours of the filthiest strings of curses I have ever uttered. They recommend screwing the middle part first. That went flawlessly. The remaining parts? Nah. Nope. I loosened parts, I tightened parts, I got out my power drill. I pushed, pulled. I put two hundred pounds of weight on it to force it into position. No dice. I eventually got enough of the screws in to work on the raised part, and successfully screwed enough of them in for it to function. Now that it's together? Gorgeous. Tons of leg room, perfect for a complex setup like mine, tons of space. The LED lights are great, the outlet's a great touch. If you're going to put this together, either hire a guy to do it for you or get a buddy to help. Doing this alone was utterly miserable, maybe the worst installation ever. I read the reviews on this desk and was a little apprehensive about buying it for my son. When it arrived, I opened it right away to make sure all the parts were there and started putting it together by myself. Instructions were easy to follow, and it only took me an hour to put it all together. One of the LED strips would not stay in place, so I used some double-sided tape, which has stayed up.     • Worth the money, takes time.
You literally have to put together each and every piece, but it’s exactly like the pictures once completed. Don’t expect to be done within 30 mins- hour, unless you have some help. LED lights are a bit trash due to the adhesive, but that’s an easy fix.
