I bought this about 2 months ago, and in that time I have moved approximately 2-3 tons of fill, 1.5 tons of limestone sand, 2 tons of gravel, and about a yard of top soil. This thing powered through all of it like a champ. I got the wheelbarrow ahead of this project in our yard knowing that I would have to move all of this material across the yard (and up a small hill), and it would have been incredibly painful to do with a normal non-powered cart. Some notes: 1. I bought a second battery out of the gate, and although each battery lasted me at least 4-5 hours of heavy use, it was nice to be able to swap them out and always have one charging (I never ran them together). 2. Assembly was easy, no issues at all. 3. You will occasionally have to tighten up the bolts on the handles, not a big deal. 4. The black bar on which it stands is kind of low, so you have to lift the handles up a little more (especially when you are walking up a steeper slope), and this transfers some pressure to your shoulders and forearms... I read some folks have attached wheels to that bar, but i have just let it drag on the ground when going up a slope (might put some skis on it at some point so its a smoother ride) 5. This things has really stood up to the gravel, sand, dirt... the powder coating has held up well. I put some green tape on the lip so I wouldn't scrape it all up when emptying it. 6. This is the cheapest option I could find anywhere (gas or electric). Honestly, just an amazing thing that saved my arms, shoulders, back... Love it. p.s. don't buy the packaged deals.... I ordered this with a hanging extension cord, and that never came... just kind of hung in "waiting to be delivered status". I ended up cancelling it. ... show more

I've tried other powered wheelbarrows, but this one is a keeper. The others I ended up returning because they either didn't work well or died an early death. Each year I spread 20 yards of mulch and half of that of mulch is up a good sized hill. This thing came in a beat up cardboard box. I expected to find it bent and dinged, but it was in good shape. The assembly wasn't too bad. Some holes didn't line up easily and required some leverage etc. but it went together pretty easily. This thing is heavy by itself. but it hauls! The distance between the handles was way too far. I ended up bending them so it was more ergonomic. Originally it was an uncomfortably large span. The other minor annoyances, the handles could be a little longer, i keep hitting my feet on the stand. The wheelbarrow doesn't empty fully when tipped forward, requiring you to scoop the contents out. On the plus side, it works really well. It handled the hill with absolutely no problem, even on wet grass. It powered over obstacles time and time again. It has a good top speed, even pulling me along later in the day. The reverse is handy too, the "throttle" works easy enough. The included battery lasted for about 2.5 hours. Don't depend on the led to let you know when to change the battery, once it's red you're done. Buy a second battery if you're planning on using it all day. I did and it was perfect, one charged while working, allowing me to work all day without interruption. Super Handy lived up to its name! ... show more

    • Seems very durable
This is new, so longevity is yet to be determined. It's more heavy duty than I expected. I moved one cord of firewood, 20 very large full loads, up a hill, with no problem and no loss of power, and still had one green battery light lit. When the wheelbarrow is loaded properly and full, once you lift on the handles the weight became neutral. I didn't have to lift any of the weight, unlike with a regular wheelbarrow. I am very pleased so far. I do have two complaints. Firstly the instruction manual states that it should come with a 177.6 watt hour battery, instead it came with a 88.8 watt hour battery. I purchased it on May 20 and was assured several times that it had shipped, when in fact it didn't ship till June 9. I finally received it on June 15. The company was very accommodating throughout the process, but if I had just been told the truth about the delay, it would have avoided a lot of the stress. I will say that all of my questions were answered quickly and politely. I would order from this company again. The battery and shipping issues were the only issues that kept me from rating it 5 stars. ... show more

I am a 72 year old retiree. I purchased this specifically to transport firewood from my driveway, where it is dropped by my supplier, up a hill to my backyard where I have storage racks that hold a cord of wood. If I could figure out how to add a photo from my phone you would be amazed at the amount of wood I transported up there over a 24 hour period. My supplier prides himself on providing what he refers to as a "Generous Cord" of firewood. That is an understatement! He dropped easily a cord and a half. This electric wheelbarrow handled it easily. I probably hauled 200 lbs of wood per trip and probably made 20 trips up that damn hill. No problem. This thing runs away from you going uphill if you're not careful. My neighbors were stunned at the brilliant performance of this wheelbarrow. I never ran out of power. I removed the battery I was using at the end of the day and put it on the charger. It was ready to get back to work in the morning. I friggen LOVE this thing! Buy with confidence! I was happy when I recieved the wheel barrow but had to return and get a replacement due to the tire bending. The company was awesome to replace the product. Then with my second barrow it was good for about a month and the hollow poles bent real easy the control is not stable.one battery dose not turn On any more.i had to get the poles.welded and reinforced from bending.and bought another battery..so something to consider maybe they will strengthen the build of this barrow cause thats the main issue is the hollowness of the arms. ... show more
