I didn't think these would make a sizeable difference and just bought them for novelty's sake, but after using them for a bit, they work better than advertised. The smallest push of my Superlight sends the mouse a good few inches away, it's like these things are butter. They are almost too good, with the mouse being so light that every twitch of your hand will register compared to some static friction in the PTFE feet. If you have any amount of jitter in your hand I would steer clear, but if you want your mouse to be an extension of your body, you legitimately can't go wrong with this upgrade. ... show more

    • Amazing mouse skates, with a slight caveat

First off let me start off by saying don't listen to a lot of the reviews on here. Mouse glide is completely preferential. Most of the reviews on here will talk about how the skates are too fast and give them a 1 star rating, but that's exactly what the skates are supposed to do, they are designed to be super smooth on your mouse pad. But at roughly $30 for a pair, they are worth a shot. When I first installed them on my G Pro X Superlight (which was super easy to do, you literally just drop them into place and push them into the mouse for a few seconds) I instantly noticed how much smoother the glide was on the mouse. I played a few games on Apex Legends, Valorant, and CS:GO and noticed a pretty significant improvement on my aim (the main issue I was experiencing before the skates, was that my mouse would hang on the mouse pad and would cause my aim to be jittery.) There is a pretty slight caveat for the skates though, but its mainly for FPS games, if you tend to panic under pressure and click your mouse too hard, you will move your reticle when you click, or if your aim isn't steady and you tend to shake a little when you shoot, you will notice it a lot. The reason is because these skates remove a lot of the friction between the mouse and the mouse pad. Without that friction, any movement from your hand will be picked up by the sensor. I really like them, and I even bought a second pair just in case these slow down after a few months of use. The media could not be loaded. These glass skates are probably going to give you the most frictionless experience possible. That being said if your desk isn’t perfectly straight and leveled and you’re not using a mousepad, you are going to experience some drift due to gravity and the lack of friction. The media could not be loaded. my mouse is now fast af also orderd another set for my G502 since it is now in stock and the reviews about the mouse cursor moving on its own that is gravity itself with your table if it is not stable flat or if you didnt remove the extra layer after removing the stock PTFE skates so that the sensor is not too high from its lift of actuation etc ... show more

When taking off the old skates make sure you also take the foam layer off. Other wise you sensor will be slightly to high and feel over sensitive causing the curser to randomly jump sometimes and miss clicks. I see some bad reviews for this and I’m just assuming they installed them wrong.
