I really like this jewelry box so much that I bought one for my daughter as well. She saw mine and wanted one. The reason I gave it four stars is for my post earrings. There’s an area at the top that is actually meant for rings, and I use it for post earrings. I wish they had designed it to be used for post earrings. I I push them into the horse that are actually made her rings and it works but they do kind of fall out. If that designers changed I would give it five stars but I would still buy it again. After a long research for a jewelry box that would work nicely and save space in our daughter's room, she chose this one. Majority of it is perfect. We used our own anchors, only because we have been burned in the past. We didn't pay close enough attention to the bar on the inside of the door that holds bracelets. The picture only showed soft compressible bracelets. When she tried to hang sturdy bangles, the door wouldn't close. The back of the box is not deep enough. UPDATE: I gave it 4 stars because I really love this unit, even with the “little personal alterations” (see pics). If it was sturdier for hanging, i would give it 5 stars. Nonetheless, it has more space than others I compared it to. - - - - - - - - - I bought two of these from different sellers. The other was a much better quality product but was smaller in length and did not have a frame around the mirror, which after a few hours had smudges all around the area of opening or wherever I came into physical contact with it. PROS: This unit has BEER SPACING and DESIGN: earrings (I love that it had 8 brackets vs only 6); bracelets and watches (their design allows space for more than other boxes with the 'L’ design); necklaces (more space with 4 brackets vs 2 or 3). I also like the two drawers at the bottom (don’t know what I’ll use it for yet). This unit is very elegant. ***TIP for DRAWERS (see pics): Glue haloed earring backs to the edge of the drawer openings to keep drawers in place when opening them. It works perfect! CONS: Narrow—at times I have to struggle to close it because my beaded necklaces although not big, don’t have enough space between the door and shelves. Magnet—door magnet is a little weak, especially when trying to close considering the stated above. I simply keep the key in place and turn it every time I close it, which is no big deal. HANGING—this is my biggest complaint (see pics). The back of this box is flimsy and has no reinforcements as the other box I bought. Thankfully, I’m handy, so I substituted their tiny nails with wood nails and reinforced the brackets with Gorilla Glue for added support. I was concerned that it otherwise would not have the capacity of hanging once full of jewelry. Despite having to make some minor alterations to it, which I did not mind it much, I love this unit. Dislikes: A little bit of a chemical smell but it's getting less. Doesn't have enough space between rows for dangly earrings so they overlap each other. Makes it a little hard to get them in and out. Nowhere to put extra long necklaces. I ended up wrapping them up to hang them. The two drawers at the bottom are different sizes so one fits really loose and one fits very snug (almost can't get it open.) See pics. Once full, it almost doesn't close. It's like it is meant to be only part way full. In addition, I have some bangle bracelets and large hoop earrings which it won't close at all if those are on the bracelet bar or earring hooks. I had to move them to a shelf or turn sideways and hang on hooks below. It really should be just a little deeper. It would still fit behind my bedroom door even if it was an inch or two deeper which would probably make all the difference. Competitors have LED lights in them but they are also smaller. Likes: Bigger than most competitor's products so more capacity (but not spaced out enough as mentioned above.) Good locking mechanism and magnet (see pics.) Sturdy hinges. Nice to have multiple ways to hang earrings. Plenty of hooks for necklaces for me. Lots of space for rings. Good quality for the price. Other than the two drawers, the workmanship is decent for the price. All hooks are installed well and sturdily so they won't come out. Nice mirror on outside. Packaged well so it arrived with no damage and arrived quickly. Super easy to install. All in all, if it was a little deeper and spaced just a little more for dangly earrings and long necklaces, it would be PERFECT. ... show more

Love being able to see all my jewelry at once. I had to contact the seller to receive the hardware for hanging. They were awesome and shipped it quickly. And that gave me time to air this stinky thing out in my garage. To store my neclaces better, I sawed out the top three shelves on the right, moved the center neclace bar from the left side to the right, and re-centered the bottom neclace bar on the left. Please don't judge my workmanship; it was a quick hack. With patience, spackle and paint and a level, I'm sure I could have made it look more professional. Maybe I'll touch it up later but you get the idea. I love this so much more than a jewelry box! Overall 5 stars because I think this is great for the price ... show more
