Platform For Display: Nintendo Switch
While Super Bomberman R2 is a decent game overall, and a pretty fun time for the local multiplayer alone, the $50 price tag is a bit too high for what you are getting out of it. The story mode is boring, long-winded, and monotonous. The online multiplayer is dragged down by a forced online rotation system, which can result in players having to wait hours just to play specific modes they are actually interested in, combined with the lack of public lobbies to join without using codes. Add to how the player base is quite small, even at launch, the fact that a percentage of this game's content was taken from a very similar free-to-play title, and a bunch of other small issues I can't get into, it's best to wait for good price drop or sale before giving it a shot. Hopefully things will get better down the road, but until then, this isn't a game I'm going to being playing online much, if at all. ... show more

This game was not at all what I was expecting. There are not many playable stages, a few hard to understand features, and building your own stage is very limited. Me and my brothers had some fun playing the classic and grand prix modes, but otherwise, we want to return or resell it.
