I definitely had low expectations. I had a pair of the flare leggings by the same brand and loved the material, and I thought I'd give the cross-waist leggings a try... best decision I've made this month to be honest! The material is that butter soft type of material with just enough stretch while also being compressive and not see through! I wear a size small in all my leggings and a small fit great and if I wanted a little more room I think I can get away with a medium. As someone who has gone through most of the major legging brands (gymshark, p'tula, alphalete, etc.), Sunzel is better than those brands combined. The ONLY thing that could make these better is getting rid of the front seam, but it's not a deal breaker. If you're looking for an affordable option with the same quality as Lululemon, definitely give these a try. ... show more

Bought these to wear on a cruise for one of the dinners with a nice blouse. I have plenty of other black leggings, but I was looking for something without pockets that looked less like workout leggings in order to dress them up. They fit great, and they are really soft! Edited to say: came back again to repurchase because I’m sick of trying other brands and ordered a size up from my original style size and it made a huuuge difference. This pair feels even a little different than the last pair for some reason, but closer to the originals. So if you are like me and missing your old ones, order a size up. I still wish they were a tiny bit higher in the waist, but these are still better than other brands I’ve tried at this price point. Changed to 4 stars because I’m happier now. These used to be my favorite leggings. I first purchased in August 2021 when they were super inexpensive and bought two more pairs because they were soooo comfortable! They were thin, but not totally see through, great for yoga and taekwondo for full range of motion, also extra high waisted with no issues of slipping or rolling down ever. I later bought another pair of a different style and loved those because they had side pockets, but no seam down the front of the leg so I can wear them as dress pants. My older ones are still going strong, but I wanted to add a few more pairs into the rotation for lazy laundry purposes since I wear them almost every day. Unfortunately they have changed the fabric and the cut and they’re not the same. They are constantly falling down or rolling during yoga especially. I will say the thicker fabric is higher compression and maybe better for squats except I imagine they wouldn’t stay put as well since the waist isn’t as high and the fabric isn’t as stretchy so it kind of pulls them down when you bend over. The back also seems lower than the front and I do not have any booty, so it’s not that. Overall, they’re still a great pair of leggings especially for the price, but if you are very tall or have a long torso, they may give you a little grief. Hoping they bring back the old style and keep them. I would’ve been fine keeping those and not having the butt scrunch option personally… ... show more

I finally found some squat proof leggings on Amazon!! I was so happy about these, but they can get holes pretty easily if you aren’t careful. When I was putting them on, my nails ripped a couple of small holes in the legs (and I don’t have long nails by any means). They are sending me a replacement, so hopefully if I’m careful I won’t rip holes in them again! ... show more

If you have a long torso, these are your girls! If you're like me, then you will want to stick to the lowest inseam and probably xs. I did a small, which is smaller than my usual medium because I like leggings more tight. But I should have gone WAY smaller I guess (see picture with tons of creases at top). The material is so much better than all my lululemon leggings though. So I'll just have to keep these for pregnancy or when I wear a hoodie to cover it up. ... show more

Every time I need a new pair of leggings, I go through my Amazon purchase history to find these. I'm nearly 5'10 and finding full length leggings is very impossible at any store/outlet. I don't know WHY PEOPLE BUY 3/4 LENGTH LEGGINGS, PLEASE STOP DOING THAT. These are the best lulu dupes I've found. They have the seams just like the lulus and have washed up nicely (almost better). High waste, perfect fit. I originally bough a medium but bought a couple more pairs in small and they fit great! For reference, I'm 130, 5'5" and wear normally 6 in other brands but S fit better than M on me. My all-time favorite leggings are Athleta high-rise elation. They do have generous sizing I wear a L there), so it was difficult at first to try to find my size in these. My measurements right now are: 36 waist and 44 hip. So for waist it puts me at an XXL and hips put me at XL. I ordered an XL. The first pair I tried were the black zebra printed ones. The material was super thick and stiff. I put them on and they immediately slid down my butt when I walked. I couldnt get them off fast enough to return. I noticed the athletas that I live are 75% nylon. Therefore, I tried the 70% nylon pair in these which only come in black. While they aren’t buttery soft like athleta … they are a decent runner up. I like a matte material and these have a little bit of that slickery feeling and a tad bit of shine… that’s the only reason why I don’t LOVE them but I’ll keep them for the price. The butt is very flattering and the same as athleta elation. The belly was a little tight but now I see why according to the size chart. I did adjust after every set in the weight room but they didn’t fall down. Things that matter: Check the fabric of your fav leggings then compare to the pair you like here as there are several different types. ... show more
