The case is attractive and well made. The edges are a firm, satin finish rubber that has no texture or "tacky" feel for grip. Even after getting used to a new phone & case, the phone has slipped from my hand several times while holding it or when picking it up. The metal kickstand/finger ring protrudes from the back surface by about 1/8" (3-4mm), preventing the phone from laying flat on a desk, table, counter or bar and causing it to wobble and/or slide around while touching the screen. There's no rubber rim or feet on the back surface to cushion the phone when you lay it down or to keep it from sliding off any smooth uneven or slanted surface, such as a pile of mail or hood of a vehicle. I have also found that this smooth case is more prone to slipping out/falling out of my pockets, due to the lack of side & rim grip. ... show more
