  • they're great
been using these for awhile. theyre very shiny and i get lots of compliments on them. they make the bike look like a motorcycle and allow you to sit up straight. not gonna bother taking pics but trust me, they look very cool. i was concerned about the sturdiness of them since there's no cross-piece connecting the two bars, but they're very thick and solid. even when i ride standing up and lean my weight onto the bars, there's no flex at all. i'm a six foot tall dude, so anyone smaller certainly has nothing to worry about. they're rock solid, stylish and steer nicely ... show more

  • No more wrist pain!
I bought a Schwinn Meridian adult tricycle, and I love it, but the handlebars curved around toward me which put my wrists in an unnatural, bent position. (See first photo.) I decided to change them to these, which are higher and straighter. (2nd photo.) They don’t hurt my wrists, and I love the higher position— I’m not leaning over putting pressure on my hands. I’m a 65-year-old female and I changed them myself after watching a YouTube video on changing to high-rise handlebars. The only tool needed was 2 sizes of hex wrenches— one to loosen the clamp holding the handlebars, and one to loosen the brake assemblies to slide them off. I was worried that I’d have to replace my brake cables with longer ones, but they were fine! (The other handlebars are wider and these are taller, but the length needed is the same.) I also raised them up at little at the stem. (Another YouTube video). The entire switch took about 15 minutes. The hardest part is getting the grips off. I switched those to pretty blue ones! My hands aren’t hurting after my rides, now! ... show more

  • aditional parts needed.
You need to order brake and shifter cable kits if bike has lower handle bars.

  • Comfortable Bars
I have fused elbows and needed something to improve handlebar reach. These are perfect. My bike is so comfortable now that I can sit up. Had to have brake and shifter cables extended but local bike shop did this in an hour or so. I love these handlebars.

  • Prefect Fit!
I searched high and low for a replacement to match my daughter-in-law's beach cruiser's rusted handlebars. This was the only place I could find one.

  • Comfortable Riding
I really like these bars it’s just too bad they couldn’t be an inch longer on each side. If you have any kind of back problems these are great due to the rise. I do plan to buy another set.
