This was what I was looking for as far as comfort and function for a maternity suit. I bought this suit when I was around 22 weeks pregnant, and I got a small (5'2", 146lbs in pregnancy). The bottoms weren't as flattering at that time because there was extra fabric for room to grow. but if you are going to be pregnant the entire duration of the summer (I'm due in september) this is a great option so you don't have to buy another suit for later in your pregnancy. For the most part, the bottoms stay up when you get in the water. Like I said, I had some extra space when I first bought this, so the top band did move a small amount, but nothing crazy and nothing I was constantly messing with; just would notice it when I got out of the pool really. Fabric and pattern on fabric matches description, as does color. I bought a size medium and there is plenty of room for my belly to grow in the bottoms. I'm 5'2 and 125 pounds pre-pregnancy, but right now I'm 23 weeks pregnant and 150 pounds. The mediums fit me well around the waist, leg holes, and butt at my current size. (I have the bottoms pulled down a bit on my tummy because i wanted it to hit above my belly button, but they offer more coverage if you want, and there really is plenty of room for a full bump in these). As for the top, I do wish that the straps could tighten a bit more (they only tighten halfway up the strap), but this will do. My typical bra size is 34D, but I've grown 1 a cup size while pregnant. The top still has some room for me if I get bigger in the chest later in pregnancy. I'm normally a S/M when not pregnant, so I would say this suit is true to size. The top did come with the elastic band around the ribs all twisted, but I was able to get it untwisted. ... show more

I spent a long time agonizing about what size to get and ended up going with Small. This size seems to fit me well with room to grow in the tummy area. I’m 5’3”, 24 weeks, and a little over 140lb (125lb pre-pregnancy). Medium definitely would have been too loose on top, I have to wear the straps pretty close to the tightest setting. However, I can see how Small might be tight for someone with a more curvy bottom half, as the openings are already quite snug around my legs. Also worth mentioning that this color is quite different than the color pictured, but I still like it. I haven’t noticed the dye bleeding like other reviews mention. ... show more

This dips a bit lower in the back so you still have that back curve to show off your belly more The top straps are a bit long although i’m petite but the smaller cups and longer straps make my pregnancy chest undeniable - which i don’t particularly love in front of family hahah but it’s worth it for the bottoms the bottoms are super flattering ... show more

This bathing suit was exactly what I was looking for. It is comfortable and stretchy but never felt too loose. The top was a little bit but that’s because I have a pretty small chest still. Definitely one of my favorites out of the three maternity suits I have.
