So, I was excited when my daughter wanted a pair of roller skates, even though she did not know how to skate. My daughter actually learned to skate with these. She actually taught herself just rolling around the house. She is a pro now and can navigate a rink with ease in these. I like the way the wheels light up as she rolls around in them. She likes it too. She says that they feel comfortable and they do give her the support that she needs, especially in the ankle area. I bought these for my soon to be 8 year old to take lessons for her birthday party. They are so cute, really well made, and a little heavier than expected. I bought the medium as the chart said youth 13.5-3. my daughter wears a 1. When they arrived, they are labeled as medium 1.5-5!!! So definitely not what's advertised. She'll have to wear layers of socks to keep them from slipping. ... show more

My daughter skates well in these. Colors and patterns are fun and the light up wheels are great for glow skate nights. They do run a tad big which worked well for us because she started at the smallest size instead of in the middle.
