My pencil arrived, able to partially work. It could reliably tap on the screen, resulting in action, however it would not actually perform the writing function. I contacted the company and received quick and excellent customer service, including a quick return of my payment. Given the number of amazing reviews for this product I’m surprised that mine was defective, and I’m not sure if I am willing to try again with this company or move on to a different pencil. But it was certainly refreshing to receive the quick and responsive service! Update on 8/6/24: True to their excellent customer service, I was contacted and offered my choice of either an Amazon account credit or a replacement pen, due to my experience. I am electing to receive a replacement pen, given the great overall reviews for the company and for their respectful follow-up. Update 10/9/24: The replacement pen didn’t work either. I became suspicious about why two different pens sent to me didn’t work and surmised that perhaps the orange color that I ordered hasn’t been updated for the 2024 iPad. I contacted Jamjake with this idea and discovered that I was correct. They offered to send me another pen after their software update for it was completed in September. So far, nothing. This pen has gone up $5 since I ordered it ($33.99 to $38.99). On that alone I recommend looking elsewhere. I wouldn't pay almost $40 for it and I'm a bit disappointed I paid the $34 I did (Vine items are not free). There are numerous other offerings here on Amazon that cost $10-15 less and do the same thing. I also had hoped the product page photos were off and that it would be a vibrant orange. Alas, no, it's as pale an orange as is in the photos. Honestly, I kinda regret the purchase. Works, yes. But I'm pretty meh about it. As such... 3 stars. ... show more

    • Works great! Precise and comfortable
As soon as I received this stylus, I took it out and started using it on a couple of different apps on my iPad Pro. I used this to draw some sketches, take some notes, and then to draw some graphs. This worked well for all of my applications. At no point did this stylus fail to work, or miss any text and I was actually impressed by how exact and precise it was. At my job, we are starting to use more collaborative software for meetings and sessions involving a larger number of work from home employees. So I tested this out using that software (Miro) and it worked great. Because the stylus is precise, the text-to-notes functionality worked perfectly, as did the drawing-to-shapes recognition functionality. I could also see the precision of this stylus being perfect for artists, although my stick figures would not qualify. It’s also magnetic, so it holds to the side of the iPad perfectly or can even be attached to anything else a magnet will stick to, like my desktop monitor riser.
