This is a nice casual summer dress. The top is well made, with the smooth-laying wrap and vertical bust darts. The skirt, however, is gathered evenly around the bottom of the bodice. You can see this in the picture I posted. It looks ok, but it's not very flattering, and creates extra volume at the waist. It's also not a very attractive line around the middle, but you can always add a belt to cover this up. I'm 5'2" and the skirt hits right at the top of the knee. Also, this dress is great for short-waisted girlies like me. I bought the dress in navy, which looks pretty nice but the navy top doesn't match the navy in the skirt. You can see in the picture that they're close, but not an ideal match. This will make it harder to find a navy belt to cover the unattractive gathering. The Kalon v-neck bralette in navy blue goes very well with this dress. It hides well in the front and back, and the straps line up so it looks like it's part of the dress. ... show more

I'm usually between sizes so it was a gamble. I'm fairly chesty with fairly wide hips and butt but with some mama pouch (I've been referred to as thicc by some). I'm usually between a medium and large so I tried the medium first. Beautiful, wonderful fit. I'm a 36DD and my girls were on display in the most flattering way. This isn't a dress I'd wear to church without a tank top underneath, let's say. It was long enough for my 5' tall figure and best part is the pockets!! The straps are adjustable. It's flowy an hides the mama pouch but isn't stretchy. It doesn't assentuate the natural waist (the band doesn't go that low) but it's comfortable, breathable, and flattering. I’m going to give my own measurements because I hate it when people talk about sizes but they don’t reveal personal measurements for people as a reference. I ordered a large and it made me look strange…. My bust is 36 C and my waist is 36 inch with hips at 42 inches (weight 155 lbs, 5’5”). The L was tight in the bust and then the bottom area ballooned out in an unattractive way. It isn’t fitted properly for my body type. It actually held my chest in tightly (too tight for my comfort), but it made my stomach, hips, and butt look bigger. If you are looking for something more loose in the waist and hips, then this’ll work for you. I didn’t feel attractive in it. If I lost some weight, it’d be more suitable. Pro: the fabric is so soft (but thin). If it’s windy, you would have to hold it down. I bought the navy with watercolor purple/pink flowers, and it was beautiful. ... show more

I needed this for a themed party for my college and I needed it last minute so I didn't care about the quality, but it is so much nicer than I expected. I get touch sensitive and this felt so nice to wear, I wear it with a long sleeve underneath and find myself wearing it more than I expected.
