I have very light skin and the lace blends well enough to get by, though to make it look realistic I would probably have to do the whole rodeo of fake scalp and glue and whatnot. I will say the cap is small, not big head friendly. I had to constantly make sure below the temples were being covered by the hair since the cap couldn't reach to cover my real hairline. Worn for a couple days all day, and it just needs to be brushed like most long hair, perhaps hit with a low heat flat iron every now and then just to smooth it out.     • In defense of this great wig
- [ ] I just got the wig today and I LOVE IT ! I’m 67 years old, I’ve been playing with wigs since I was 19. So I have learned a LOT! This wig is synthetic and I used to only want to deal with human hair wigs and hairpieces. To me the difference is similar to the differences between dogs and cats….you can pretty train a a dog to do whatever you want… cats? … not so much!!! In the world of wigs and hairpieces the synthetic ones are more like cats…. YOU have to learn to how to deal with them on THEIR terms.!! There won’t be a lot of restyling and training possibilities the synthetic ones and you have know that going in.. Let’s take a look at some - [ ] criticisms of this wig: “The baby hairs are too thick”..,,not in my opinion… the baby hairs should be fluffed up and combed back into the hair around the world edges the wig… the same as you would do with your natural hair… the lace front helps make this realistic. - [ ] “You can see the tracks in the back”….. true but how many times are you gonna wanna wear this r wig in a bun or updo?? Just always wear it with the dreads down. - [ ] “I don’t like it that the part is in the very center of the top”…,. I don’t like this either but you can shift the wig an inch or two either side . - [ ] I know from that a custom made human hair wig like this would cost you well OVER THREE HUNDRED DOLLARS!!!…I know because I have purchased several. If you want to go that route you would would have a wig that conforms to all your wishes and desires. - [ ] In the meantime I’m goin full Milli Vanilli on that ass with my new dreads almost down to my butt and LOVIN IT !!!!! I knew what to expect purchasing a SYNTHETIC wig! The length and color was great for the price. It's soft right out of the box, and the parting is good. I only got 1 wear out of it but I would purchase again! Keep a wig brush with you because it will tangle being as though it's synthetic.

Honestly I had mixed emotions at first from the simulated cap since it gives less room to glue the lace but if you are able to work with little space and have the right things it’s absolutely possible, it does tangle quite easily so be mindful, the hair is also quite coarse so be careful when brushing it so you don’t break off a lot of ends ... show more

Absolutely love this wig. Looks so natural fits my small head like a dream. If you have a big head this is not for you. But like I said for once I , a small headed person have a wig that isn't going to move and slide around on my head. It is light and airy so it doesn't make me sweat in the 90°f weather in June. The lace is pale enough it blends well with my light skin and I don't need to use make-up to tint the lace. It didn't need any tweezing. I'm a licensed cosmetologist who focused in extensions and wigs. I experience hair loss myself because of medical conditions and so I own many wigs. This one hangs very well due to well distributed tracks and tied hair into the lace on top. The knots on top are a bit large so if you need to tweeze so make them a bit less noticeable do minimal tweezing. The ear tabs are very short and do not need trimming any shorter just trim the excess lace you won't be trimming away any hair around the ears I assure you. You will want to do a wave to the hairline in the front to make it look more natural as it is very straight and it looks more natural if it isn't so straight. As far as the color goes it is so lovely because it has many different colors woven through it such as lavender and peach that blend so well. It give is a very natural look as if you dyed your own hair and it is how natural hair looks when you color it. Real hair has subtle deviations in shades in it and it pulls color slightly different when it is dyed. This wig simulates that so well it is beautiful. The only drawback in this wig and why I am giving it 4/5 stars is because it sheds heavily. I am quite disappointed in that. It isn't like it's getting bald at all but it is significant. I worry about the amount of hair coming off and how long this wig will be wearable. I will give an update if it becomes an issue later or lasts a long while I will make my review go to a 5/5 star. But as of now I am at a 4/5. If I have to end up making an alteration to save the wig it will stay at that rating. Even still I would be willing to reorder at this price. This is my new favorite wig. ... show more
