    • Great formulation, horrible smell...
I used this night oil every other night for at least a couple of years, but stopped using it because it has a strong, feminine odor. I tried to look (and smell) past it, but the scent is overwhelmingly strong and I finally opted for another brand's product. I can't find fault in the formulation, as the multiple forms of retinol seemed to be effective and non-comedogenic, but I also wouldn't describe it as moisturizing. If my face was tight and/or dry prior to application it felt essentially the same way after this oil was applied. Just the same, it didn't seem to dry my skin any further, which is a positive for any medium to high potency, retinol-based formula. I'd use this product again if a non-scented formula was introduced, but I don't expect such a version anytime soon (or ever, really, given that Strivectin primarily markets to a female audience). ... show more

I’m in my 40’s and find some retinol too harsh. If the recovery time takes too long from an otc retinol, I can’t use it. This works well at with continued use I saw even more results. The dermatologist I use said it was better for my skin to use a less harsh retinol that I could use daily than to use the others that made me peel for 10 days after one use ... show more

This product immediately made my dry skin feel smoother! It soaks into my skin and I love it. It has no scent which I prefer. It may seem expensive but you don’t use much so I expect it will last a very long time. I've only been using it for a week and I have never used Retinol in any form, just daily nightly moisturizing creams (No 7). This has not caused any reactions of any kind.
